Overview This note describes how to configure Lumio Touch s and AMX IS-SPX-1000 Web-Based Configuration Digital Signage Devices (AMX device), in order to enable the AMX device to work with a Lumio Touch This note includes: Configuring the Lumio PCB Controller on page 2 Configuring the AMX Digital Signage Device on page 7 Configuring the Lumio PCB Controller Configure the Lumio Touch from the Lumio PCB Controller. This section includes: Setting the Lumio PCB Controller to Single Touch Mouse Manual Mode on page 2 Disabling the Auto Drift function of the Lumio PCB Controller on page 5 Setting the Lumio PCB Controller to Single Touch Mouse Manual Mode To set the PCB Controller to single touch mouse mode: 1. Open the Lumio Crystal Touch Manager application (CTM). 2. Login to CTM as Administrator: a. Select the Login button. Figure 1 Login Window The Login window opens. 2 of 8
b. Type the Administrator password received from Lumio in the Enter Administrator Password field. Figure 2 Administrator Login Window c. Select OK. The user is logged on as an Administrator. The Login window closes, and the Main window opens. 3. Set the PCB Controller to single touch manual mouse mode: a. In CTM navigate to: Main > Functional Settings. The Functional Settings window opens. b. Select the Single Touch radio button in the Touch Type pane. c. Select the Mouse mode from the Communications drop-down menu. d. Select the Manual mode from the Identification drop-down menu. e. Select the value 1 from the Max Touches drop-down menu. 3 of 8

Disabling the Auto Drift function of the Lumio PCB Controller Ensure that the Auto Drift function of the PCB Controller is disabled. NOTE: Lumio Firmware v 2.1.10.0 and up does not enable Auto Drift, even when available. To disable the Auto Drift function of the PCB Controller: 1. Open CTM in Administrator mode (see Setting the Lumio PCB Controller to Single Touch Mouse Manual Mode on page 2). 2. Select the Administrator field in the Main window. The Administrator window opens. 3. Select the Auto Drift Correction field. Figure 5 Administrator Login Window The Drift Auto Adjustment window opens. 5 of 8
Figure 6 Administrator Login Window 4. Deselect the Enable Auto Selection check box (if checked). 5. Select the Back icon. The Warning window opens (see Figure 4 on page 4). 6. Select Yes. The Auto Drift function is disabled (The Administrator window opens). 6 of 8
Configuring the AMX Digital Signage Device After setting the Lumio PCB Controller configurations, configure the following settings for the AMX IS-SPX-1000 Web-Based Configuration Digital Signage Device. To configure the AMX IS-SPX-1000 Web-Based Configuration Digital Signage Device settings: 1. Login to the AMX IS-SPX-1000 Web Configuration Digital Signage Device application: Enter the IP address of the IS-SPX-1000 into any Zeroconf-enabled browser, such as NetLinx Studio, or via the Bonjour plug-in for Internet Explorer and Safari (For further details, see the AMX Operation/Reference Guide for the IS-SPX_1000 InspiredSignage XPress Player). 2. Configure the Interactivity settings: a. Navigate to: Display Settings > Interactivity. The Interactivity window opens. Figure 7 Interactivity Window 7 of 8
b. Configure the following settings in the Interactivity Settings pane: Check the Enable Events box Set the Maximum Rendering Latency value to 1600ms Check the Reduce Latency to 60ms box Un-check the Support Large number of USB devices box c. Select Apply. The settings are configured and the application restarts. 3. Perform Calibration: a. Navigate to: Display Settings > Interactivity. b. Select Start Calibration procedure from the Touchscreen Calibration pane. The calibration process for the IS-SPX-1000 Web-Based Configuration Digital Signage Device is executed. Upon completion of the calibration process, the AMX IS-SPX-1000 Web-Based Configuration Digital Signage Device settings is enabled to work with the Lumio Touch. 8 of 8
