3 Document Overview Welcome to the KPMG Technical Support Document for the Experienced Hire Recruiting Process. KPMG utilizes multiple technologies in an effort to optimize the Recruiting Process for our users. We are committed to making the electronic recruiting process as seamless as possible for our users and as a result, this document describes the major system components of the Recruiting process and is intended to help guide our users along the way. KPMG Experienced Hire Recruiting leverages the following system components: KPMG Career Center KPMG Talent Community KPMG Applicant Tracking System The section below outlines each of the major system components and provides a brief description of each component so that users can easily navigate through the Experienced Hire Recruiting Process. Navigating KPMG s Experienced Hire Recruiting Process - Where Am I? KPMG Career Center The KPMG Career Center is a place where users can explore a wealth of informative content about KPMG. Specifically, users can learn about KPMG's business areas, firm culture, benefits, and news. Additionally, this is a place where users can follow KPMG on social media channels, view upcoming events, and search our current open positions. 4 Also provided below is a screen shot of the KPMG Career Center: To search for positions that appeal to you, simply click on the Job Search link. Upon clicking Apply, you will be prompted to enter or verify the minimum information necessary to submit your resume for consideration. Once the necessary information has been verified, your submission will automatically be recorded in our Applicant Tracking System. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to join our KPMG Talent Community. The section below describes the purpose of the KPMG Talent Community and the benefits of becoming a member. Should you experience technical difficulty, please reference the Contact Technical Support section to email a System Administrator and we will assist in answering your questions in a timely manner. KPMG Talent Community The KPMG Talent Community is set up to provide Talent Community members with content customized to their interests such as open positions, search agents, videos, and industry information
5 through our KPMG Institutes. Additionally, from the Talent Community, users can access some of the same career center content such as news, upcoming events and social media channels to allow returning users to have the experience of both platforms from one user interface. In order to provide a customized experience and to allow you to maintain your individual information, you are required to provide your email address and a password to join and access the Talent Community. The first time you enter the Talent Community, you will be prompted to create a password and provide the minimal information necessary to customize your experience. 6 As stated above, KPMG Talent Community members have the capability to customize viewable content, create Job Agents that will send an alert when new positions become available, and search for open positions. To edit your Talent Community Member Profile, and as a result customize viewable content, simply click on the settings wheel ( ) shown in the screen shot below, and click My Account. Next, click Edit Profile as shown in the screen shot below. Upon updating your member profile, click Submit. Users also have the capability to Create, Edit, and Delete Job Alerts. Creating a Job Alert or multiple alerts will trigger email notifications to the user on a weekly or monthly basis for jobs matching the criteria the user defines. To create a Job Alert, simply click on the settings wheel ( ) and select My Account. Next, select Create Job Alerts as shown in the screen shot above. Upon defining the Job Alert criteria, click Save Agent. To search for positions that appeal to you, simply click on the Job Search link located on the Talent Community Home page. Upon clicking Apply, you will be prompted to enter or verify the minimum information necessary to submit your resume for consideration. Once the necessary information has been verified, your submission will automatically be recorded in our Applicant Tracking System. Note: Users may APPLY through a number of avenues, including a posting on a Job Board, searching the KPMG Career Center, and searching the KPMG Talent Community. In all cases, you will be prompted to enter or verify the minimum information necessary to submit your resume for consideration for open positions, which provides you a streamlined process to submit data needed both for the talent community and our applicant tracking system in one step to eliminate the need for duplicate data entry.

Applicant Tracking System The Applicant Tracking System is our Recruiting tool that collects candidate data essential for processing candidates through the Recruiting process. This is a place where candidates will verify their candidate profile for accuracy and completeness, complete an online application if contacted by a KPMG Recruiter, and view and accept/decline offers if you are selected for a position. 8 Also provided below is a screen shot of the Applicant Tracking System Login page: Given there are still processes where you may find yourself logging directly into the Applicant Tracking System page shown above, below are answers to the most commonly asked questions among our users related to Login and Passwords, Locked Accounts, Updating Candidate Profiles, and Managing Challenge Questions for our Applicant Tracking System: Login and Password Creating a new Candidate Profile If you are attempting to create a new candidate profile and receive an error message stating Account cannot be created. Username already exists, this means that the username you are attempting to create the account with already exists in our Applicant Tracking System; to proceed, attempt to login under the Registered Users section with this username. Logging in as a Registered User If you are attempting to login as a registered user and receive an error message stating that the Username does not exist, please see the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email the System Administrator for assistance.
9 If you are attempting to login as a registered user and received an error message stating username and password are invalid and would like to reset your password, select the Forgot Your Password? link. Next, enter your user name and click Submit. If you have established pre-defined Challenge Questions, upon clicking submit, you will be prompted to answer your pre-defined challenge questions. If you do not remember the answers to the pre-defined challenge questions, then please see the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email the System Administrator for assistance. If you have not historically created challenge questions, a one-time password reset email will be emailed to your corresponding email address which will provide you a link to reset your password. If you do not receive this email shortly, please check your SPAM/Junk folders as some times these notifications get filtered to SPAM or Junk folders. When creating your password, the password must be a minimum of 8 characters in length and include at least one letter, one number, and one special character (all non-alphanumeric characters on a standard keyboard are valid with the exception of comma, or period. or backslash \ ). Example, password1# Finally, when entering your username and password, it is important to ensure that there are no additional spaces at the beginning or end of your entry. If there are additional spaces, your login information will not be recognized and the invalid error will occur. Managing My Challenge Questions If you cannot remember your password and do not know the answers to your Challenge Questions, please see the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email the System Administrator. An Administrator will send you a message with a temporary password which will allow you to access your profile and reset your password. Once you have successfully logged in, click My Account and next, select Change Challenge Questions to manage/edit your challenge questions. When creating or editing your challenge questions, if you receive an error message stating Please enter distinct answers, this error message is a result of two or more questions having identical answers. To proceed, enter distinct answers for each question. If you are unable to create distinct answers, consider selecting a different challenge question from the list provided. Should you experience further technical difficulty, please reference the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email a System Administrator and we will assist in answering your questions in a timely manner My Account is Locked If you are attempting to login as a registered user and receive an error message stating Account is Locked, please see the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email the System Administrator.
10 An Administrator will unlock your account and send you a message with a temporary password, allowing you to access your profile and reset your password. Note: Upon receiving confirmation that your account has been unlocked, you must close your current web browser completely and open a new window before attempting to login as a Registered User. Also, clearing your internet history/cache or opening the career center link in a new web browser may also help, as the current browser may be storing the information from the last time you attempted to access this link. Updating My Candidate Profile Updating My Email Address Updating your email address will ensure that all correspondence will be sent to the new email address provided, however your username will not change as a result of this update. Your username is only used for logging into your account. Editing My Username To edit your username, login to your Candidate profile and select My Account. Next, select Change User Name. Updating My Resume after Applying to a Position The Applicant Tracking system reflects real-time updates. This means that users may update their profile information, including their resume, at any time and upon saving, Recruiters will only see the most current information. KPMG Online Application The KPMG Online Application portal is a feature that exists within the Applicant Tracking System. Here, candidates will complete the KPMG Online Application form, if contacted by a KPMG Experienced Hire Recruiter. Once the candidate submits the Online Application form in a Final status, the respective recruiter will receive the completed form in an electronic PDF format. The information collected will be used, with consent, to initiate a background check and ultimately will become a part of the candidates employee personnel file, should the candidate be selected for a position with KPMG. 11 If you are attempting to login to complete or update the Online Application Form and receive an error message stating that your application cannot be modified at this time, please contact your Recruiter. Once you have submitted an Application in Final status, the form becomes locked for editing and the recruiter must release the Application form for editing. If you are attempting to login to complete or update the Online Application form and receive an error message stating that the Username and Password are invalid and you would like to reset your password, select the Forgot Your Password? link. Viewing and Accepting/Declining My Offer Letter The KPMG Offer Letter portal is a feature that exists within the Applicant Tracking System. Here, candidates will review their offer letter and electronically inform KPMG of their decision by accepting or declining their offer, should the candidate receive an offer letter from KPMG. To login to the Offer Letter portal, the candidate will use the same user ID and password that was used for the Online Application. Provided below is a screenshot of the Offer Letter Login Screen If attempting to login to review an offer letter and receive an error message stating that Username and Password are invalid and you would like to reset your password, select the Forgot Your Password? link. Next, enter your user name and click Submit. If you have established pre-defined Challenge Questions, upon clicking submit, you will be prompted to answer your pre-defined challenge questions. If you do not remember the answers to the pre-defined challenge questions, then please see the Contact Technical Support for Help section to email the System Administrator for assistance. If you have not historically created challenge questions, a one-time password reset email will be emailed to your corresponding email address which will provide you a link to reset your password. If you do not receive this email shortly, please check your SPAM/Junk folders as some times these notifications get filtered to SPAM or Junk folders. If attempting to accept the offer and upon clicking Accept, nothing happens, first, review the supported devices and browsers section to ensure you are using a supported device and/or browser. Second, try closing your internet browser completely and re-open the browser. Third, try re-booting
13 your computer. Finally, if feasible, try accepting/declining from another computer if the above approach does not work. Accessing KPMG s Recruiting Portals: Supported Devices and Browsers As KPMG Experienced Hire Recruiting utilizes multiple technologies to optimize the Recruiting process, it is critical to ensure users are using compatible devices and web browsers. KPMG s Experienced Hire Recruiting technologies support the latest versions of Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Google Chrome. In regard to devices, our technologies support all Desktop/Laptops, IPhones and IPads, Android phones and Tablets, Windows phones and Tablets and Blackberry version 2010 and forward. If you are using another device and/or web browser and are experiencing technical difficulty, please try one of the supported devices and web browsers listed above. Email Our recruiting systems make significant use of email as a means of communicating; due to the variety of mail systems, it may be necessary to check your SPAM or Junk folder if you do not receive an expected email.
