Consulting & Project Management Endura Energy has provided advisory and project management services for many of the top commercial solar PV developers in North America. Onterra Solar Endura Energy provided consulting and project management services to Onterra Solar on solar rooftop portfolio. Consulting services spanned from the feasibility stage to design and commissioning. Endura Energy was responsible for managing interactions with utilities and inspection agencies on both large-scale grid connected and off-grid initiatives. Endura Energy s guidance allowed Onterra to successfully achieve their project design goals.

TREC Renewable Energy Co-op and SolarShare Co-op Endura Energy has provided a full menu of consulting services to SolarShare Co-op across multiple projects; from pre-feasibility through to engineering design, project management and commissioning for rooftop solar installations. Endura Energy s expertise in FIT contract management, domestic content and energy yield estimation are included in our scope on SolarShare Co-op engagements. Private Capital / Aggregator Endura Energy provided advisory services to a private equity aggregator on a large portfolio of diverse rooftop and utility scale solar projects. Provincial Power Authority Endura Energy is a technical advisor to a Provincial Power Authority, providing technical project inspections and auditing services for FIT projects.

Development Endura Energy s integrated development team has executed on a number of successful solar PV projects with its partners. It has developed numerous FIT 1 and FIT 2 rooftop projects across Ontario, which were ultimately sold to private equity and community co-operatives. Engineering & Design Endura has provided Engineering Services for over 95 MW of solar PV projects. Our integrated, multidisciplinary engineering team works closely with our clients to develop the most effective and leading-edge solutions for both fixed and tracking ground-mount solar PV systems, flat and sloped roof systems, and large scale off-grid battery storage solutions. Case Studies Sunny Shores Solar Farm (Oakville Hydro) Overview Location: System Size: Project Type: Scope: Picton, Ontario 14 MW DC Utility scale ground mount Full Engineer-of-Record Challenge Endura s Approach Value to the Client The developer had procured a very large project site and wanted to maximize the energy yield of the plant, however a low lying region in the middle of the site limited options due to frequently flooding during spring runoff. Endura Energy developed a design utilizing a 1000 V DC system that allowed a 140% DC:AC oversize ratio and utilized only six inverters. The entire site was maximized through a redirection of run off flows around the solar array and through a culvert under the site. The developer was able to fully utilize the vast project site and maximize their project investment.

Heritage Green Retirement Home (City of Hamilton) Overview Location: Hamilton, Ontario System Size: 100 kw solar / 180 kwh energy storage Project Type: Flat roof solar with on-grid/off-grid alternate load battery storage Scope: Electrical Engineer-of-Record Challenge Endura s Approach Value to the Client Client wished to have a grid connected rooftop solar project but was advised by the utility that there was no available grid capacity in the area and that grid upgrades would take several years. Endura Energy designed the largest non-military hybrid offgrid solar PV and energy storage system in Ontario to power the heating and cooling rooftop units in the building. In times during low solar generation, the loads are automatically transferred back to the grid until solar energy yields come back up. The retirement home was able to meet its objective of going solar despite the fact that they could not connect to the grid. The hybrid solar PV and battery backup system is able to provide significant peak shaving of the building s electrical energy costs. Additionally, the system was designed to be converted into grid connection mode once grid capacity is made available by the utility. Case Studies
