The Operations and Network Center (CORE) is the cornerstone in Informatica ECI's strategy for the provision of managed information technology services. It was created in 1997 and has recently renovated its infrastructure and methodology. There are currently 2 Datacenters located in Madrid and Asturias. They are also the main Service Centers within a geographically distributed architecture jointly comprising Barcelona, Huesca and Ciudad Real. All of the services have been certified according to standards for quality (ISO 9001), process management (ISO 20001) and safety (ISO 27001). The center has the SAP Partner Hosting certification to host SAP applications and employs its own CGANE methodology, based on ITIL best practices and COBIT or CMMI models, whose objective is to improve the provision and management of system operation services, as well as facilitate the alignment of IT and business areas. CORE structure and safety systems CORE is structured into three units: Monitors the applications and Client IT systems, providing the first level of registration and support to incident resolution. Manages backups and all batch processes of the systems. OPERATIONS AND CONTROL CENTER (SUPERCON) Offers implementation and innovation services, as well as second level incident resolution from the SUPERCON. It controls the configuration of the management tools used by the SUPERCON in monitoring the systems. PRODUCTION CENTER IT SYSTEMS SUPPORT AND ADMINISTRATION CENTER OPERATIONS AND NETWO RK CENTER This ensures 24x7 service. Although the Center was initially designed to serve large companies and public bodies, its cost optimization and economies of scale have made CORE IT managed services a highly competitive option for SMEs too.
