Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 1 Log In The web portal allows timesheet approvers to log into the system to view working candidates, approve and reject timesheets, and manage positions. Tower will grant timesheet approvers web portal log in access using their email address. 1) Log in to Web Portal To access the portal, the timesheet approver will enter his or her username, usually an email address, and password into the log in page. The log in credentials are emailed to the timesheet approver when access is granted by Tower. If the timesheet approver has forgotten his or her password, the timesheet approver can click on the Forgot Your Password? link to have the password emailed to him or her. Timesheet approvers can opt to receive notification when all time has been submitted or to change notification settings. Timesheet approvers should contact payroll@towerls.com to make adjustments to their current settings.
Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 2 Dashboard Once one has logged into the web portal, he or she will be able to access available timesheets. Candidates can access records and view contact information from their dashboard. Open timesheets will appear in the Timesheets widget on the dashboard. The Change Password option is available in the top right corner of the dashboard. Timesheet Dashboard Widget Timesheet approvers access records and perform functions from the dashboard. 1) Approve Timesheets Dashboard Widget
Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 3 After candidates submit timesheets, the timesheets are displayed on the Approve Timesheets widget. Timesheets are listed newest to oldest by default but can be sorted by clicking on the Week column name. View or hide hour details by clicking on the Show/Hide Daily Hours option. Toggle between views: To view and sort timesheets by job (PO number), select the Group By PO Number option. To view and sort timesheets by approver, select Group By Approver. Approve selected timesheets by clicking on the selection box and clicking the option at the bottom of the widget. Click on the Timesheet ID to open the timesheet page to view timesheet details or approve or reject a timesheet. Click on the Overview link to view timesheet details directly from the dashboard.
Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 4 Manage Timesheets Timesheets can be approved or rejected, in bulk or individually, from the dashboard widget or from the timesheet page. Approve Timesheets 1) From the Dashboard a) Select all timesheets (bulk approve), or select an individual timesheet in the Approve Timesheets widget, and then click the Approve Selected option at the bottom of the widget. After the process completes, the approved timesheets are no longer visible in the Approve Timesheets widget. b) Click on the Overview link to view timesheet details. Click the Show Details option to view the in/out details for each day. Click the Hide Details option to toggle back to the simple view.
Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 5 Select the Approve/Reject option. When the Approve & Reject options open, confirm that the information is correct and select OK to commit the changes. After the process completes, the timesheet is no longer visible in the Approve Timesheets widget. Notification is sent to the candidate to let the candidate know that the timesheet has been approved. 2) From the Timesheet Page Click on the Timesheet ID from the Approve Timesheets widget to open the timesheet page. Click the Approve option at the bottom of the page to open the Approve/Reject options widget.

After saving the changes, the timesheet will close and be removed from the dashboard. Notification is sent to the candidate to let the candidate know that the timesheet has been approved. Reject Timesheets 1) From the Dashboard Click the pink thumbs down reject icon from the Approve Timesheets widget to open the Approve/Reject options widget. The reject option should be selected for each day. If only rejecting a specific day, change the option for the other days to the green thumbs up. For the rejected days, click the Rejection Reason drop down menu to select the reason why the timesheet has been rejected, and then enter a note as appropriate. The reason and note will display to the candidate in his or her timesheet portal, and the reason will be included in the email to the candidate. Click OK to commit the changes.

Click the Reject option at the bottom of the page to open the Approve/Reject options widget. The reject option should be selected for each day. If only rejecting a specific day, change the option for the other days to the green thumbs up. For the rejected days, click the Rejection Reason drop down menu to select the reason why the timesheet has been rejected, and then enter a note as appropriate. The reason and note will display to the candidate in his or her timesheet portal, and the reason will be included in the email to the candidate. Click OK to commit the changes.

Review Expenses 1) From the Dashboard Locate the timesheet with expenses in the Approve Timesheets widget on the dashboard. Click the Overview link to see the details of the expense. Click on the Show/Hide Details toggle button to view the details for the expenses.

If the information is incorrect, check the thumbs down icon, select a rejection reason, enter a note, and then select OK to reject the expenses. After the process completes, the timesheet is no longer visible in the Approve Timesheets dashboard widget. Notification is sent to the candidate to let the candidate know that the timesheet has been approved. 2) From the Timesheet Page Click on the Timesheet ID in the Approve Timesheets widget to open the timesheet page. Click on the Expenses tab at the top of the page. Click the Approve option at the bottom of the page to open the Approve/Reject options widget. When the Approve & Reject options open, confirm that the information is correct and select OK to commit the changes.

After saving the changes, the timesheet will close and be removed from the dashboard. Notification is sent to the candidate to let him or her know that the timesheet has been approved. 3) View Expense Report Attachments Open the timesheet from the Approve Timesheets widget. Locate the attachments in the right sidebar and click on the count to open the Attachment widget. Click on the attachment link in the widget to open and view the file. Hover over the puzzle piece icon to view options available for the attachment.
Client Timesheet and Expense Instructions Page 11 View Historical Timesheets Check Show past and submitted timesheets in the left corner of the Timesheets widget.
