Higher National Certificate (HNC) / Higher National Diploma (HND) Key course information Start date: 31 October 2016. Second year (HND) to commence October 2017. Course duration: HNC 2 terms each of 12 weeks. HND (second year) 2 terms each of 12 weeks. HNC study 24 weeks. Total HND studies 48 weeks. Minimum age: 18.
