Which courses do I take? Your curriculum The ECTS requirements for your curriculum depend on the intake source: Intake General Preferential Elective Other Diss. Elective Bachelor 62 18 16 24 including Cost Price Reporting International 62 18 16 24 but not Cost Price Reporting MSc. Eng. Preferential Elective Courses 8 courses in Module 2.1.1 These courses target extended competencies for IEOR engineers Financial and Cost Price Reporting in Companies This course contains essential competencies that all IEOR students should acquire. You have to take it, even if it is elective. However, you can not take it if: you followed Financiële Analyse en Beheer and/or Kostprijsberekening en Investeringsanalyse in the past cost price reporting is already in your track record IEOR Information session Curriculum 6
Elective Courses Which elective courses can I take? In principle, any course that the SPC allows Minimal ECTS from preferential elective courses: Module 2.1.1 Other elective courses: Module 2.1.2 Other elective courses: all technical courses in the master programs of the faculty Your own motivated special suggestion for other courses e.g. related to thesis, exchange program, project,... contact SPC! Automotive Production Engineering You can choose to follow the minor Automotive Production Engineering (APE) Module 2.2.1 then requirements for elective courses are different: Follow 18 to 24 ECTS courses from APE (Module 2.2.1 ref. b or c) All remaining ECTS must be taken from the preferential elective courses: Module 2.1.1 No other elective courses IEOR Information session Curriculum 8
How do I enroll? OASIS You must enroll in OASIS, follow these instructions: FEA-richtlijnen herinschrijven What about EMBKSY? EMBKSY is the Dutch equivalent of EMIEOR, but we do not lecture in Dutch so you have to acquire the courses by guided self-study. We advise to enroll for EMIEOR and not for EMBKSY What if you already enrolled for EMBKSY? 1. Enrol for EMIEOR in parallel 2. Send an email to Melanie Bytebier (FSA) and ask to delete your EMBKSY enrollment Submit your curriculum in OASIS Your curriculum: only courses you will follow this year, never courses you already followed before Do not select courses in EMBKSY modules! Applying for exemptions If you already acquired the competencies in a general course of the program, you can apply for an exemption (vrijstelling). Only for general courses, not elective courses! Obviously, you can not choose a course and then ask to be exempted. Send a formal request to the SPC by e-mail Include the names and course sheets of the courses in your track record on which your exemption request is based!
