Step By Step Guide for SPARROW Application (Demo URL) For Workflow 1. Login to the http://sparrow.eoffice.gov.in with usrid as local-admin2 and eoffice as password. 2. Create the workflow a. On left navigation click Workflow -> Create/Update b. Select the Assessment Period ( 2013-2014) c. Search the employee by providing any of the search criteria or click on search for all employees. d. Choose any one employee and NOTE the employee code of that employee ( e.g. 01AM014700) e. Set the Assessment period (Can change the To Date in case of part PAR) f. Select the status (Working/Training/Leave) g. Select the corresponding form type h. Click on Continue. i. Select the Reporting Authority, Reviewing Authority and Accepting Authority and NOTE the employee code for all the stages selected the same done as on d. j. Set the workflow for standard/representation/referral/memorandum as the case. 3. Generate the PAR a. On left navigation click PAR ->Generation b. Select the assessment period. c. Search the employee by providing any of the search criteria or click on search for all employees. d. Any of the employee click Generate ( Link available in Quick Action) e. Fill the section I and send to the employee. f. Logout from the application.

Login to the eapar URL with your employee code as userid and password as eoffice b. On left navigation click Inbox c. My APAR tab will be having the pending APAR of the officer, click on the hyperlink and fill the Section II. d. Send to the Reporting Authority for further movement. e. Logout from the application. 2. For Reporting /Reviewing /Accepting Authority a. Login to the eapar URL with respective employee code (Reporting/Reviewing/Accepting Authority) as userid and password as eoffice b. On left navigation click Inbox c. Click on the Assess APAR tab Click on the hyperlink of the officer whose APAR has to be assessed and fill the relevant Section. d. Send to the Reviewing /Accepting Authority accordingly for further movement. e. After Accepting Authority it will be sent to CR Section. f. CR section will send it to employee by clicking the Disclose to Employee button
3. View the Grading a. Login to the eapar demo URL with your employee code as userid and password as eoffice b. Click My APAR tab c. Officer can ACCEPT the grading by clicking I Accept or Put for Representation button d. The APAR is sent to CR Section e. CR section will send it to Establishment Officer 4. Closing of APAR 5. Dossier a. After processing from all the stages defined as per the workflow set, final APAR will be closed by the CR section by clicking the CLOSE button of the APAR. b. EO section will send the closed APAR to Cadre Control Authority (CCA) Completed APAR can be viewed from Dossier Option available in the Custodian account.
