Mission Our aim is to become our customer s partners by taking full responsabilities on achieving attended results, and by offering total order life-cycle management, starting from procurement until end-customer s acceptance. Quality, safety/security and innovation are the fundamental key elements of each and every activity, focused on customer s needs satisfaction through tailored project conception and design. Usually we deploy our own employed experts (12 to 20 units overall, depending on actual engagement), trained inside the Company or supported, for specific in-depth technical topics, by external specialization courses by our direct suppliers. Services and solutions Project s offering is articulated, but not limited, in the following points: Design and development of industrial, civil and infrastructure automation(sectors: road, rail, building and power); Design and construction of low voltage switchboards for automation, remote control and remote monitoring; Supply of Servers, PCs, Panel PCs, PLCs, industrial electronics, sensors and electromechanical actuators and all components, accessories and peripherals for use in projects / contracts; Design, supply, configuration and testing of active components for local area network (LAN) for offices and industry (e.g. industrial field-buses); Assessments, design and implementation of safety instrumented systems (SIS)with our two qualified TÜV FSE specialists (functional safey); Design and development of certified/certifiable software in compliance with CEI EN 50128 (software for railway signaling); Design and development of localized or distributed SCADA systems and applications integration, supervision and remote control with commercial development platforms (ABB, COPA-DATA, Citect, GE, Invensys / Wonderware, Progea, Schneider, Siemens); Design and development of software modules and hardware/software for gateway functions and M2M interfacing (machine to machine); Analysis and development of departmental business applications, databases / data warehouses, vertical integration until Enterprise Resources Planning layer; Consulting and training for both the services we realize and to support the customer s knowledge management needs. R&D PROJECT truly believes that R&D is an effective source for drawing products and services innovation and optimization. Up to now we have participated, either alone or in groups with other small, medium and large enterprises and research organizations, a number of funded research projects. The latest result achieved is the success of the project TESEO, carried out as the leader of the consortium with Autostrade per l Italia (ASPI) and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Florence (DICeA), funded by Regione Toscana in the scope of POR CREO FESR 2007-2013. Other active/st-by projects are the following: TESYS RAIL, promoted by National Technology Cluster Trasporti Italia 2020 in the railway sector, and recently approved by the Minstry for University and Research (MIUR). SII MOBILITY, promoted by University of Florence and a number of other small to large businesses in tuscany, aimed at Smart cities applications research; SAM, promoted by Project itself, for an innovative concept for manufatoring automation. Our History PROJECT was founded in 1992. The expertise achieved as professionals in Industrial Automation, IT solutions and Business Management lead the associates to found the Company, in order to transfer their know-how and their calling in absolute quality operation. From the very beginning they focused the business to industry market, with projects on computerization, IT restructuring and adaptation. Shortly new fields of interest opened, which we decided to undertake with strong momentum and success: training and consultancy services in Organization and Quality management. During the years, and with ups and downs due to a difficult and aggressive market as well as to the small size of the Company, Project continued to be present within important customers with remarkable but limited success. The need to avoid fixed and organic costs growth, on the one hand helped Project to ride out the events of the last 15 years, but on the other side affected dimensional growth, which is paramount in our field of activity in order to grant access to significant projects, in terms of overall value and durability. Nowadays Project has matured utterly ad we re ready to undertake a truly significant blooming, with the experience of many difficult years of a very difficult market and being now able to rely on a cosistent and loyal team of specialists: after more than 20 years of activity we still have top-class national customers which maintain with us strong and friendly partnerships.
