Who We Are There s meeting management and then there s integrated event management. And the difference between them can mean the difference between an event that exceeds your expectations, and one that leaves you searching for answers. IEM is truly a service oriented company. We leverage our many years of experience to pull together some of the industry s most talented creative and technical professionals. Our veteran team of experts attentively listens to your needs, carefully assesses your meeting requirements and then provides for you the highest level of creativity, service, and quality products - all at a fair price.

What We Do IEM excels at surpassing our clients expectations for delivering a superior product on-time and within budget. Our experienced producers, designers, engineers and technicians, combined with the latest technology and equipment, go the extra mile in producing spot on meeting content and flawless staging and technical support. Whatever your production and technical needs: stage set design and room layouts, theme design, video production, breakout sessions and tradeshow support, on-site staging labor and equipment management or even posting your post-show meeting content for Internet access we can support you and your event team every step of the way. Small or large programs, local or international events; we thrive on bringing the ultimate meeting experience to you and your audience.

The IEM Team Tom Kann President & CEO Tom Kann has been involved with various technical aspects of the corporate, association and tradeshow industry for over 28 years. Tom began his career with Total Audio Visual Services (TAVS) in Atlanta, Georgia as a lighting designer and multi-image programmer. During his 20 year tenure with TAVS (later purchased by Caribiner International), Tom also held the positions of sales/project manager and operations manager; instituting many processes and procedures needed to keep up with the company s rapid growth. Upon realizing how this sizeable corporate growth was having a negative impact on the level of personal client care, Tom chose to place the focus back on customer service by starting his own company - Integrated Event Management (IEM) in 1999. A good product at a fair price, coupled with unparalleled personalized service is the motto on which Tom continues to run this successful business.

Phil Haney Vice President & COO Phil Haney began his career in the audio visual meeting management business over 26 years ago while working with AVW Audio Visual in Houston, Texas as an in house hotel manager. From there he progressed through the ranks of rental manager, operations manager, national sales manager, and finally general manager. In 1988, Phil left AVW to take a role with the fastest growing audio visual company in the country, Total Audio Visual Services (TAVS) as their general manager in Orlando, Florida. While there Phil focused on the growth of the in house hotel business, along with the development of the Orlando Staging and Meeting Services division. By 1996 he had helped grow the Orlando Operation to include over 40 in house hotels and a staging and meeting services division with over 120 full time employees. In 1996, TAVS was purchased by Caribiner International and Phil become Vice President of Business Development, assisting in the acquisition and integration effort of Caribiner s a/v business. In October of 2000, Phil fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a partner in a business in the technical production and show management field. He joined IEM and his former associate at TAVS, Tom Kann. Together they are committed to using the knowledge and contacts of over 50 combined years of experience in the industry to provide the highest level of service and execution of corporate meetings, associations, tradeshows and special events.

John Charlebois Sr. Technical Producer / Account Manager John Charlebois began his production career in theater and concert staging. In 1983, John transitioned into the corporate audio visual production arena by accepting a position as Technical Director & Lighting Designer for Magnum Productions in Atlanta, GA. In 1984, John moved to Cleveland, OH to join L&M Productions (a Division of Andrews- Bartlett) as Theatrical Account Executive. His responsibilities included Lighting Design, Scenic Design, Stage Management and Technical Direction for Corporate events. In 1994, John joined Total Audio Visual Services / AVHQ in Orlando, FL as an Account Executive and Senior Project Manager. John left AVHQ at the beginning of 2002 to pursue more creative avenues and to further his ability to respond to his clients presentation needs by joining Integrated Event Management (IEM) as Senior Technical Producer & Account Manager.

Nancy McFarland Director of Marketing & Production Services With over 25 years of experience in corporate meetings and events, Nancy McFarland is a seasoned professional with exceptional senior-level credentials as an account representative and a hands-on meeting producer. Nancy s broad range of experience in national and international corporate productions include sales & incentive meetings, customer events, trade shows, product introductions, user conferences, video production, training programs and live entertainment. Nancy started her career in corporate communications as a graphic designer with AVW Audio Visual (a Freeman Company) in Houston, TX. Within 3 years, she was promoted to Senior Producer where she was responsible for all aspects of a corporate production including creative development and direction, establishing/maintaining budgets and schedules, video and electronic presentation production, and showsite management. In 1987, Nancy co-founded Times 3 Productions and assumed responsibilities as the Director of Corporate Development. Nancy relocated to Central Florida in 1995 where she joined Media Design Group as Executive Producer and Account Manager. In 2006, Nancy became the newest member of the IEM family as the Director of Marketing and Production Services.

Janet Thomson National Account Manager In 1985, Janet Thomson began her career in the audio-visual field by managing an array of multi-media projects for Audio Visual America (AVA) in Phoenix, AZ. With a background in advertising and video production, Janet excelled at producing corporate training programs. It was during this time that she developed a passion for working with the medical education and association communities. Janet realized that this niche market was in need of customer-focused, service oriented and technologically advanced event management. She joined IEM in their quest to provide solutions to the medical and education communities. Since 2001, Janet has served as the National Account Manager for the IEM team and is actively involved with the local Southwest chapters of the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and Meeting Professionals International (MPI).

David Mazurek Art Director After graduating with honors from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale in 1981, David Mazurek began his career as a Special Effects artist with Multi Image Group in Boca Raton, FL. David was quickly promoted to the position of Associate Producer where he performed a wide range of responsibilities including art direction, multi-image programming and video production. In 1991, David relocated to Central Florida as Art Director for Media Design Group where he gained his award-winning experience in corporate meetings and events, web design, motion and video design, and interactive training. David joined the IEM team in 2005 where he continues to hone his talent for creating Graphic Design that works aesthetically and congruently across a variety of media.
