LOGGING INTO ONLINE BANKING 1) To login to Discovery Online Banking you must first visit www.discoveryfcu.org. At the bottom left of every page on our website, you will find a section conveniently dedicated to logging into the online banking system. You can also access the online banking system by clicking on Access Discovery Online located in the How May We Help You navigation box. 2) Once you enter your Account Number and your 4-digit PIN number (which you would have chosen on your membership application, or e-services enrollment form) you will be redirected to a screen that displays the following text: At Discovery, your online security is our priority and as part of our commitment to providing a safe and secure online environment, we are enhancing the Discovery Online login process by adding an improved security feature to help protect your personal account information. This enhanced online security will help you determine that you are accessing a valid Discovery website before you provide any personal information. This will require a brief one-time enrollment. During the enrollment process you will be asked to do the following: 1) Select a personal security image and enter a meaningful phrase. (The image and phrase are uniquely selected by you and you will see it during every login to Discovery Online.) 2) Select three security questions and provide answers for each. 3) Opt-to enroll your (non-public) frequently used computer with Discovery so we can identify you on subsequent visits. Click continue to move to the next page. 2 P age

YOUR PASSWORD You will then be asked to enter your password which was provided to you at account opening, or when you completed your e-services enrollment form. Your temporary password to enter the Discovery online system is the first initial of your first name (CAPITALIZED), the first initial of your last name (CAPITALIZED), and your six digit birth date, entered all together, with no spaces. For example: First name: John Last name: Doe Birthdate: July, 24, 1971 Password: JD072471 You will be recommended to change your password immediately upon entering the Discovery online system to ensure security of your online financial information. SETTING UP YOUR SECURITY IMAGE, PHRASE AND QUESTIONS 3) After entering your password you will enter the Online Banking system which prompts you to select a security image and unique security phrase that you will see every time you try to login to the Online Banking system. The screen will appear as follows: If an image and phrase that you have NOT selected is displayed on the screen when you attempt to login to Discovery Online, do not continue and contact Discovery immediately. 3 P age

SUMMARY OF ACCOUNTS 4) Once you select a security image and phrase you will have fully logged into the Online Banking system. The summary of accounts screen is the first screen you will see when you enter the Online Banking system. This screen provides a snapshot of all accounts associated with a particular account number. From here you can choose from the various menu items to the left of the screen. Each menu item will take you to a different screen, or will display a series of drop-down items you can select. This screen displays Total Balances of each share, as well as their Available Balances. VIEW HISTORY 5) In order to view your transaction history for a particular account you can either click on the blue hyperlink text under Account Description in the Share Accounts section, or you can click on History under the Accounts section in the menu on the left side of the screen. You can change the share and the date range by choosing a different option in the drop-down box below the displayed information and clicking submit. 4 P age

CHECK SEARCH 6) You can search for cleared drafts by clicking the Check Search drop-down item in the main menu on the left side of the screen. You can either search by a specific check number by enter the number in the box and clicking submit, or you can search your checking account by month by changing the options in the drop-down box on the right side and selecting submit. STOP PAYMENTS 7) To issue a stop payment on a draft you have drawn on your account, click the Stop payments selection on the left side in the main menu bar. You can choose to stop one specific check, a range of checks, or all checks from clearing from your account by clicking the appropriate box and selecting submit. There is a fee associated with this service. Please check the current fee schedule for the correct fee amount. At the bottom of the screen you are able to choose from which share the fee will be assessed. 5 P age

DIVIDENDS/JOINT ACCOUNT HOLDERS 8) To view your year-to-date taxable dividend totals, interest paid on loans, dividends withheld, bond earnings, Certificate penalties paid, and other account information click on the Dividends selection in the main menu on the left side of the screen under Accounts. The Joint accountholder tab directly underneath Dividends will allow you to see any joint account owner information for the selected accounts. CHECK CARD HOLDS 9) The Check Card Holds section of online banking will inform you of any holds you have placed on your checking account at the present time. The holds are from any active authorizations you have pending on your checking account, as a result of using your Visa check card at an ATM or a retail store. TRANSACTIONS 10) To transfer funds between accounts, purchase a certificate of deposit or make a check withdrawal click on the Transactions selection in the main menu to the left of the screen. TRANSFERRING FUNDS: To transfer funds between accounts select the transfer funds choice beneath the Transactions heading in the main menu to the left of the screen. Choose from which share account you want to transfer funds out of and to which share account or loan account you want the funds deposited into. Choose an amount for the transaction, enter a memo if applicable and click submit. You will be sent to a confirmation page where you will have to click submit a final time before the transaction is processed. 6 P age

PURCHASE CERTIFICATE To purchase a certificate, click on the Purchase Certificate link in the main menu on the left side of the screen under the heading Transactions. Once you read and accept the certificate disclosures, you will be brought to a screen that allows you to pick terms ranging from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 60 months. Once you click on the desired certificate term length and the corresponding rate, you will have to select from which account you would like to fund your certificate, enter any miscellaneous information, personal memos or joint accountholder information to complete the purchase. MAKE WITHDRAWAL To make a check withdrawal from your shares please select Make withdrawal from the main menu topics on the left side of the screen under the heading Transactions. Choose from which share you would like to withdrawal the funds, which address that Discovery has on file that you would like it to be sent to and select the amount you desire. Your check should arrive within 3-5 business days. PAY MY BILLS 11) To view Discovery s online bill pay service click on Pay My Bills in the main menu on the left side of the screen. This link will redirect you to our bill pay website, https://www.billpaysite.com/v2/login.aspx?instid=90305. If you have not previously enrolled in Discovery s online bill pay service, click Enroll and follow the instructions. If you have already enrolled, enter your User ID and PIN to enter the system. For information on how to use the online bill pay service, please visit https://www.discoveryfcu.org/account_services/online_bill_payer.aspx, and click on Download a complete Bill Pay Reference Guide. *Note: In order to use the Online Bill Pay system, you must have an open and active checking account with Discovery. If you do not have a checking account with Discovery and would like to apply, please call 610.372.8010 to speak with a representative or apply online at www.discoveryfcu.org. 7 P age

LOAN APPLICATIONS 12) To apply for a loan or credit card using Discovery s online banking system, click on Loan Applications in the main menu to the left side of the screen. Choose to apply for a loan or credit card from Discovery and click next. Then, fill out all the applicable information into the online application. Once you are finished with the application, read the appropriate disclosures and click submit. You will hear from Discovery regarding your application within 3-5 business days. ACCOUNT MAINTENANCE 13) To change your Discovery online banking 4-digit PIN number or security password, change your security images and questions, report a Visa check card as lost or stolen, add or remove online authorizations to and from other members, reorder checks and change mailing and email addresses click on the Maintenance tab in the main menu on the left side of the screen. CHANGE PIN/PASSWORD To change your Discovery online banking 4-digit PIN number or security password, click the Change PIN/Password choice beneath the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Enter the new PIN and/or password into the adjacent boxes, confirm the PIN and/or password and click submit. CHANGE SECURITY IMAGES/QUESTIONS To change your security image and phrase or the security questions and answers that appear as you log in to Discovery online banking, click the Security choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Select an image and phrase, and questions and answer, and click submit. 8 P age

REPORT A LOST/STOLEN VISA CHECK CARD To report a Discovery Visa Check Card as lost or stolen click on the VISA check card info choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Select the card number that you would like to report as lost or stolen by clicking on the link under Card Number. Then select whether the card was lost or stolen and click submit. SETUP OTHER TRANSFERS To set up the ability to transfer to and receive from other Discovery members through our online system, click the Setup other transfers choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. To add an account, enter a valid member number and the member s last name to add the number of the member you wish to be able to transfer to. To remove an account, enter the existing authorized member number you wish to remove from your listed of authorized transfers. REORDER CHECKS, CHANGE MAILING AND EMAIL ADRESSES -To reorder checks click on the reorder checks choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. This will open a new window with this URL, https://www.deluxe-checkorder.com/reorderhome.jsp. Follow the instructions to order your new checks. -To change your mailing address click on the Address choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Click Modify to change the address for either your primary, secondary or work address. Fill in the appropriate information and click submit. -To change your email address click on the Email choice under the Maintenance tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Fill in your new email address and click next. Confirm the changes and click submit. 9 P age

TODAY S RATES 14) To view today s current rates click on the Today s rates tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Choose between Savings & investments, and Loans. The Savings & investments selection will open a new window with the URL https://www.discoveryfcu.org/rates/savings_rates.aspx. On that page you will be able to see our most current rates for our savings and investment products. The Loans selection will open a new window with the URL https://www.discoveryfcu.org/rates/loan_rates.aspx. On that page you will be able to see our most current rates for our loan products. DISCOVERY MAIL 15) To read or send Discovery mail through our secure online server click on the Discovery Mail tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. READ MAIL If there are messages in your inbox from Discovery there will be a pop-up window that asks you if you would like to read your messages. Click ok and you will be redirected to the Discovery Mail part of the online banking system. Click on the link under the subject field to read your message. After you are done reading your message, you can delete the message by click delete item to the right of the screen. You can either reply or browse other areas of the online system once you are finished. SEND MAIL To send a secure message to Discovery through the online system, click on the send choice under the Discovery Mail tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. Choose to which department you want your message to be sent, enter a subject and message text. Click next to submit your message to Discovery. 10 P age

LINKS 16) To reorder checks or to view your Discovery e-statement click on the Links tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. REORDER CHECKS - To reorder your checks click on the Reorder checks choice under the Links tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. This link will open a new window with the URL https://www.deluxe-checkorder.com/reorderhome.jsp. Follow the instructions on the Deluxe website to reorder your checks. VIEW E-STATEMENT - To view your Discovery e-statement click on the e-statements choice under the Links tab in the main menu to the left of the screen. This link will open a new window with the URL https://www.lasertec-mi.com/discoveryfcu/index.asp. Enter your User ID and password that was given to you when you first enrolled. If you have not enrolled for e-statements yet, please click the enroll button and follow the instructions at the new screen. - Your User ID is your Discovery account number, and the password is the first initial of your first name (CAPITALIZED), the first initial of your last name (CAPITALIZED), and your six digit birth date, entered all together, with no spaces. For example: First name: John Last name: Doe Birthdate: July, 24, 1971 Password: JD072471 - You will be recommended to change your password immediately upon entering the Discovery e-statement system to ensure security of your online financial information. - If you have previously changed your password and do not remember it, or you become locked out of the e-statement system after multiple failed attempts to log in, please contact Discovery at 610.372.8010 during normal business hours.
