Impacts of climate change in Vietnam Vietnam is amongst the most disaster prone countries in the world. There are indications that the severity of disaster events is increasing as an impact of climate change. Natural disasters like typhoons, floods, tropical storms, droughts, landslides, forest fires, and occasional earthquakes are constant threats to Vietnam s natural environment.

Application Suggestion 1. Disaster Early warning systems Observation and prediction of possible threats in the surroundings. E.g. monitoring Flood, Flood-tide, landslides, forest fires,.

Application Suggestion 2. Real-time salinity invasion map in Mekong delta Building a data-logging integrated salinity sensor. The innovative sensors is lowcost and long-lasting in the environment. It will operate autonomously in the water. The data collected will be used to develop a real-time salinity invasion map in Mekong delta. This system is supporting for aquiculture and agriculture Mekong delta in south of Viet Nam

Application Suggestion 3. Environmental monitoring system Pollutants ( Air and Water Quality Monitoring). Climate change.

4. UWSN for weather service Application Suggestion
