NUS revs up scheme to spur start-ups The Straits Times, Thursday Special Report, 7 July 2011 NCSV alumni Lee Min Xuan & Audrey Tan, founded PlayMoolah, a startup that uses online games to teach children how to manage their money. Both of them shared a passion for starting innovative business as well as educating children, and the idea for their enterprise grew from there. They were also roommates when they were on the NOC program.
Students who learnt entrepreneurship in India Tamil Murasu, 12 August 2010 The extreme weather conditions at Himachal Pradesh (Himalayas) were unexpected, said 3 rd Year Southeast Asian Studies major, Alexandra (21). The team went on the NOC programme in India and was involved with carrying out research into Ecosphere Spiti s ecotourism project. They conducted surveys and interviews with many people of diverse backgrounds for this purpose.
