Ritchie Bent Group Head of Human Resources Jardine Matheson Ltd Ritchie Bent has lived and worked in Asia-Pacific for more than 30 years. He is currently Group Head of Human Resources for Jardine Matheson Limited. JM Group Human Resources provides strategic support to the Holdings Board and consulting services to businesses across the Group. Part of its work is external, offering services to a number of non-jardine clients. Prior to assuming his current role Ritchie held several positions in Jardine Pacific, the trading arm of the Group. This organisation consisted of more than 30 companies, operated in as many countries, and employed >60,000 people. Positions included: Director of Human Resources, General Manager People Development, General Manager Compensation Services, and Manager Management Development. Before joining Jardines he spent several years with the Royal Hong Kong Police, holding both operational and training roles. In his last posting, he served as a Detective Chief Inspector with the Organised and Serious Crimes Group. His corporate career began in Kodak Ltd (UK), where he spent 3 years in marketing. He is an adjunct professor at the Hong Kong University, an Honorary Teaching Fellow at the University of Leicester (UK), and Visiting Professor at Edinburgh Napier University Business School (UK). He is also a Chartered FCIPD (UK), Fellow and Council Member of the Hong Kong Management Association, and Chairman of the HRD Committee. He speaks Cantonese and holds a Ph.D, M.Sc, and a BA (Hons) History degree.
Bin Wolfe Managing Partner, Talent, Asia Pacific EY Bin Wolfe is Managing Partner, Talent, Asia-Pacific for EY. She oversees all EY s human resources-related functions and processes to support EY s more than 32,000 people across 22 markets. Bin is a member of EY s Asia-Pacific Area Operating Executive and the Global Talent Executive Committee. Bin s role includes driving the development of a high performance teaming culture one that attracts top talent into the organization, and provides our people with an inclusive and engaging work environment and tremendous opportunities for personal and professional development. Bin s career as a HR professional began with Ernst & Young in the US in 1990 and includes a number of Talent leadership roles, including Americas Pacific Southwest Sub-Area People Leader. After returning to her native Shanghai in 2008, Bin served as a senior member of the Ernst & Young s Far East Area People leadership team and People Leader for the Greater China Sub-Area before taking on her current role. Bin has a Master of Science degree in Organization Development from Pepperdine University.
Bianca Wong Group Human Resources & Corporate Communications Director Jebsen & Co. Ltd. Bianca Wong has been in the human resources field for more than 13 years. As Group HR and Corporate Communications Director, she is responsible for the overall strategy and programmes related to human resources across all Business Units within Jebsen. She supports the Group s growth strategy in Greater China with the full spectrum of HR initiatives on effective recruitment, ensuring the leadership pipeline, engaging employees to achieve excellence as well as preparing them for career development. She also leads and oversees the Group s Corporate Communications strategy, including but not limited to Group s public relations efforts, branding, crisis management and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programmes across the Greater China region, to promote and cultivate a credible Jebsen brand and uphold its reputation. Prior to joining Jebsen, she worked for FedEx as Managing Director, Human Resource Services for North Asia, responsible for all HR functions for the region, as well as overseeing the HR process and system design for the Asia Pacific division. She was based in Tokyo, Japan prior to returning to Hong Kong in 2009. She holds a Master of Science degree from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from University of Pennsylvania in the US. Outside of work, she is member of a singing group, Brio, and enjoys watching a variety of movies.
Clare Muhiudeen Managing Director, Talent and Rewards, Asia Pacific Tower Watsons Experience Clare brings over 25 years experience in Human Capital consulting to the region including managing complex strategic reward, talent and change programs. Clare s clients include large multinational companies in a range of sectors, including professional services, engineering, luxury brands and telecommunications. She started out as a researcher at the London School of Economics before joining the then Wyatt Company in London to work in HR consulting. Since then her career has progressed through the organization; from managing the HR consulting team in London, the UK team and then managing the HR consulting business across Europe and the Middle East. In that role, Clare opened the Watson Wyatt Dubai office and was a member of the Dubai board and the European Executive Leadership team. In 2009, Clare together with her husband, transferred to Hong Kong, to lead Towers Watson s Asia Pacific Talent and Rewards business. From Hong Kong, Clare manages a business of 480 consultants across 13 markets. Clare is a member of the Towers Watson Regional Asia Pacific Leadership team and the Global Talent and Rewards Leadership team. She is an active supporter of inclusion and diversity within Towers Watson. Education and Qualification Clare holds a bachelor degree in Psychology at the University of London, and a Master of Science in Industrial Relations at the London School of Economics. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, UK and of World@Work.
William W (Bill) Kooser Associate Dean for Global Outreach University of Chicago Booth School & Business William W Kooser is the Associate Dean for Global Outreach at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Based in Hong Kong, Kooser is responsible for developing relationships with key government, business, and media leaders to promote the school, as he identifies ways to further raise the school s stature and increase activity. He has had a nearly 30 year career in management education, most of it at Chicago Booth. He has held a variety of positions at the school including Director of Admissions, director of Career services, and Associate Dean for Executive MBA Programs. Kooser received his BA from Yale University in 1978 and an MBA from Chicago Booth in 1981. He also earned an MBA from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven in Leuven, Belgium.
