About Us Donald Feathers, CPA President Don started his career working for a regional public accounting firm located in Ohio. His main expertise and clientele during this time included Real Estate Developers and Construction Companies. He provided oversight and management of clients on audits, tax, consulting and capital raising. During 2001 Don became the CFO/Controller for a large turn-key commercial real estate developer/general contractor located in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was in charge of the company s accounting and financial functions and assisted on the operations side of the business. In January of 2009 he went out on his own and has since been involved working with distressed commercial estate ventures, negotiating workout with lenders and raising capital. During his career he has been involved in over 6,600,000 square feet of commercial real estate development on retail, industrial and office projects, including assisting in the private financing of over $340,000,000 on projects and $98,000,000 in public financing. Don has extensive recent experience in distressed situations, providing workout and bankruptcy related advisory services for over $250,000,000+ worth of commercial real estate during the past three years. This includes workout and bankruptcy services to both creditors and debtors that involved Chapter 11 services and planning and workouts outside of bankruptcy. He has also acted as the operational and financial advisor in 363 sales under Chapter 11 bankruptcy including raising debt and equity for the stalking horse. Don received his BBA in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati in 1993. He became a licenses CPA in the State of Ohio in February 1996 and has maintained an active license since.
