Services Modern Languages Department The Modern Languages Department enables you to study French, English, German or Spanish. Languages are taught in two specific buildings: B5 and SUP/SUAIO. Two self-service language resource centres are available to students who want to improve their language skills. Career Service In the SUP/SUAIO building, you can also find Pass Pro, a special office dedicated to professional orientation and finding jobs/internships. Seminars are organised throughout the year to help students with CV and application letters. You can also find a large area reserved for documentation, information on careers, jobs and an area dedicated to the modelling of entrepreneurial culture and kick-off starting young businesses called the Hubhouse. Disabled Service If you are disabled or have a serious illness, the student s life office can help you in many ways (help with administrative procedures, with the organisation of courses, of exams, etc). Don t hesitate to contact this office before your arrival. Societies and Clubs There are over 60 clubs and societies on the university campus. Thanks to these associations, you can meet other French students. Summer Schools Each summer, international students can take part in summer schools on the campus. Students should have a good level in English language. A good command of English is required. This programme is bilingual (English-French). Students should have a good command of both languages. This programme with selective admissions criteria is made for students with a good level of English and who would like to open their mind to the European and international dimensions of the economy in the spirit of the European high schools. Sc.) 3 years (180 ECTS) Exchange students accepted Students with high school diploma/a-levels in science (honors grade) and a good command of the English language (European level B1-B2). Physical and Analytical Chemistry Science, Technology, Health Physical Chemistry of Chemistry Master degree 2 years Two specialities - Advanced Spectroscopy for Chemistry or Atmospheric Environment - are offered in second year European and International students accepted through exchange programs The programme is targeting all students holding a diploma worth 180 ECTS credits (Bachelor, Licence or equivalent) in the fields of Chemistry, Physical Chemistry, Biochemistry or Physics. Master Degree 2 years (120 ECTS) Exchange students accepted The curriculum is geared to students with a BSc degree in life sciences or natural sciences. A good command of English is required. No specific requirement The European Master in Translational Neuroscience consists of a twoyear curriculum (120 European credits, ECTS) of ten consecutive modules, four methodological courses, a short (6 weeks) and a long (36 weeks) research internship and is designed as a multi-disciplinary and international program with a focus on translational research. While the modules are taught at Maastricht University, students spend their six weeks research elective and the master thesis at laboratories of the different partner universities (University of Lille, Science & Technology included). BSc Grade Point Average (GPA) should be at least 60-70% of the maximum scale. Management of European Affairs 26.27 Economics and Management Economics and management Economics and Management Master Degree It is possible to choose between the new two-year programme (120 ECTS) or to enroll directly in the second year (60 ECTS). Exchange students may be accepted on conditions. Opportunity to have a double degree with the University of Wildau, Germany (Only for students who choose the full Master s degree in two years). Our objective is to educate tomorrow s high-level Experts and/ or Managers able to respond to the highest requirements of companies, institutions or other authorities concerned by all areas influenced by European decision-making processes.
