With our Switch Kit, you can switch everything, including direct deposits and automatic payments, to one of our checking accounts in five simple steps. 1. Open an Avadian checking account. If you don t already have a savings account with us, you will need to open one first. All it takes is $5. Once you do, you will be eligible to apply for all of our other great products and services, like our checking. With our checking account, you enjoy checking that s better tailored to your needs. Discontinue using your checking account at your other financial institution. Let all your outstanding checks and debit card transactions clear. This may take several days. Destroy your old checks and debit cards. We will be happy to shred these items for you, just drop by your local branch with items in tow. 3. Move direct deposits. Immediately contact your payroll office and/or fill out our Direct Deposit Authorization Form. Give this form to your employer s payroll department, the Social Security Administration, your retirement plan, or any other source of direct deposit.
