The workplace observation sheet contains a list of observations that are not defined clearly for the mentor i.e. Role models positive behaviour and performance; Uses organisational KPI s to meet the organisations goals and objectives; Actively involves team members in decision making processes; Accurately assesses risks and communicates these to line managers; Uses feedback mechanisms to monitor the implementation and impact of decisions. The workplace mentor is required to simply tick whether the candidate has performed these actions consistently in the workplace. No further workplace documentation is required to be submitted for evidence purposes from the mentor to support claims and no description is provided as a guide to the workplace mentor to ensure consistency of understanding.
