Attention High School Students! Announcing The Clean Air Campaign s Young Lungs at Work Art Competition 2013-2014 Theme: CLEAN AIR HEROES t-shirt design What s the YOUNG LUNGS AT WORK ART COMPETITION? Who are our Clean Air Heroes? What does a hero look like? What would you do or say do get people to follow? On this theme, create a positive t-shirt design that can help get out the word about reducing the air pollution that comes from vehicle tailpipes. Have you got a catchy slogan in mind? A powerful image with lots of color? Does a hero lead through humor or by keeping a straight face? Design your own positive message for the masses. Be creative! Who s eligible? All students enrolled in high school (9-12) in Georgia for the 2013-2014 school year can participate. Students from private, parochial, and home schools as well as student support organizations are also eligible. When are entries due? All entries must be e-mailed or postmarked by February 28, 2014. Any entries postmarked after this date will not be considered. What are the prizes? Winning shirt designs will be featured on The Clean Air Campaign s website and social media channels, showing your talents to over 100,000 people across the U.S.! The Clean Air Campaign staff will visit each student s school to present prizes. Best of all, we ll print shirts featuring your design for you to give to other students, your friends, fellow tree-huggers your choice! First place prize: 20 shirts. Second and third place prize: 10 shirts.
What are the contest rules? Each design must be accompanied by a completed entry form. Forms can be found at cleanaircampaign.org/schools. Be sure to clearly label your entry form with both your name AND the name of your school. All design entries must be original and must be created by students. Keep it clean: No profanity, hate speech, or offensive/violent imagery. All designs must be appropriate for general audiences. All designs will remain the property of The Clean Air Campaign and used for public education. Students may submit more than one design. How do I enter? Designs can be hand-drawn and mailed OR created digitally and e-mailed as a PDF. Be sure to clearly label your entry with your name and school and include an entry form for each design.
