Introduction In this WSO I am going to show you how to make thousands every month by selling article writing services to hungry customers. I am going to show you how to get customers (that s the most important part), how to collect orders, pricing of your services and also how to outsource the work without having to spend a penny out of your pocket. You can run this business on complete autopilot Please don t skip lines. Getting Customers You know what s the most difficult thing in any online business? Traffic! If you have a high converting traffic source you can sell just about anything you want. Without traffic, you are dead. So, let s get to the traffic part, shall we? Please pay close attention. Traffic source: Google Go to Google.com and type in the following: web design company los angeles

This is how the results look: About the companies highlighted in red: Now, the red highlights are sponsored results from design companies and the green highlights are normal search rankings. What does that mean? The companies who advertised on Google for the keywords web design company los angeles have a lot of money to spend on advertising (yes, those keywords cost a bomb on adwords)

That also means these companies (the red highlights) are getting huge traffic and a lot of design orders from people otherwise they wouldn t have been able to spend so much on advertising their services. About the companies highlighted in green: These companies are ranking on the first page of Google for such competitive keywords. That means they also have the money to spend on SEO so they rank for such competitive keywords on the first page. That again means only one thing: They are making a killing selling web design services! Now, How is Web Design Related To Selling Article Writing Services? I will let you in on a secret here. All these companies offering design services get orders from BIG CLIENTS (some even place orders worth over $5k that include design and development). Guess what? They need content for their sites too. Yes, the people ordering design services need content that the design companies are unable to offer most of the times because of lack of resources and also because they don t care about a couple of hundred dollars they could earn by offering content services. They just want to focus on design and development. But, you do care about a couple of hundred dollars right? Okay, let me show you something:

Here s a couple of screenshots of some companies that came up when I searched into Google for Web Design Company Los Angeles. The first one cukerinteractive.com This is a huge company, but they do not offer content development services!

Let s take a look at the first company in organic rankings (the first green highlight in fig.1) creativesoda.com Once again, they DO NOT OFFER CONTENT DEVELOPMENT SERVICES! So, here s the idea: You will target web design and development companies in US, UK, Australia and Canada cities (even if you live in Nigeria or Pakistan) You will go to Google.com and look for web design and development companies that are listed there (in both organic and paid rankings). Here are the suggested keywords you will use to find your potential clients: 1. Web design company, name of place

2. Web development company, name of place 3. Design services, name of place 4. Best web designer, name of place 5. E-commerce design services, name of place 6. Interactive site design, name of place 7. Oldest web design company, name of place 8. SEO and design service, name of place 9. SEO company, name of place 10. Search engine optimization company, name of place 11. HTML designer, name of place 12. Wordpress designer, name of place 13. UI designer, name of place 14. Web consulting company, name of place 15. CMS designer, name of place 16. Custom Web Design Services, name of place What s next? Okay so, you found out a bunch of design, development and SEO companies using Google, now what? You need to contact them. But, wait you are NOT going to simply type in a proposal into their contact form and send it to them. That s unprofessional and reply back rates are low. You will e-mail them! But most of the sites only have contact form on their sites and contact numbers, so how are you going to pitch your proposal via email? Here s how:

1.Open the site you want to contact. Locate the contact button/page and click on that. Let s take the example of creativesoda.com 2.Press CTRL+U (ctrl and u together, not the + sign) while you are still on the contact page. This is going to open up the resource page :

3.The resource page is the page that has all the codes that gives shape and form to the page that we view. Now while being on the resource page hit CTRL+F (ctrl and f together, not the + sign). This will pull up the find feature on your browser on either the bottom left or top right depending on what browser you are using. Now in the find box that popped up after pressing CTRL+F type @ (without quotes and hit enter). The basic principle here is to find the @ sign in the midst of all that code because that contact form has to have an email linked to it and an email is not possible without the @ symbol. So you find that and you ll have the email of the business. Note: On some websites they just publish the email on the contact page. You just need to copy it from there. You would also come across some

businesses that do not have either a contact form or an email just a phone number. For such businesses you can contact them by typing the Web Address (www.thenameofthebusiness.com) into the search box on Domaintools.com. Collect the emails of as many businesses as you can and put them in an.xl sheet. It doesn t take long to collect emails. Put in half an hour a day to find out emails and you should be able to have 60-70 emails a day. Try out with different locations. Target big cities across the USA, UK, Canada and Australia and use all the different keyword combinations given here. What s Next? Okay, so you now have a bunch of contact emails of web design and SEO companies in a particular area, what s next? You will need to email these businesses offering your content writing services. Here s the exact email I use. I d request you to create a similar one and not use my exact copy : Sub: Help your site www.sitename.com Body:

Hi, Your site sitename.com rocks! I chanced upon your website while researching for some Joomla! related content. Couldn't resist from writing to you. Being in the "web design and development" sector, you must be catering to a diverse range of clients. I m sure many of your clients often look for content writing services apart from the obvious design services. Yes, you got it right! I'm a content writer on a job hunting spree Not that my hands are not full enough, but it never hurts to have more work. I'm a full time writer with 9 years of writing experience and I'm sure I can add value to your/your clients' content writing needs. Let me know of possible opportunities and I can offer a "LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE". Can provide umpteen work samples if you need so. Thanks, Angshuman Dutta. I use basic gmail all the time to send out emails to my prospects and NEVER send across samples of work in my first email to them. You can use gmail, yahoo, hotmail or any other free mailing service because that ensures the emails end up in the inbox and not the spam box of my prospects. I use gmail even though I have my own company emails!

How many emails do I send out before I get any order? Frankly I don t count, because I don t do it myself I just focus on delivering the orders not sending out mails. I outsource the emailing process. Here s what you need to do if you don t want to send out the emails yourself (I do the same): 1. Go to Freelancer.com and sign up as a buyer. 2. Post a project saying: I need 200 emails sent out in 24 hours from gmail. Basic copy paste work. I will give you the email subject and body and also the email addresses. You just have to paste the emails and send them out to my clients. I will pay $20 for 200 emails that you send out. Fresh freelancers can apply. If you work well, there ll be continuous long term work available. 3. After posting the project wait for bids. It s a basic copy paste job, so you can hire anyone you want. Chat with them on freelancer to make sure they understand the details (yes, freelancer.com has a chat feature) and give them the job. When you give the job to someone make sure you tell him to create a gmail address (something that sounds like you are a writer) and then send emails from there. Tell him you will need the email and password of the email used to send out the mailers.

Note: Sometimes these people simply put all the addresses in the BCC section and send out bulk mail. Tell them not to do that. ONLY INDIVIDUAL EMAILS. If your freelancer sends out 200 emails, you can expect at least 25-35 inquiries, out of which at least 15 would turn into orders. What After Sending Out The Emails? Frankly, if you send out an email that looks similar to mine, most of your clients will not ask for your sample work. But, some of them will. Here s what you do: Sign up on iwriter.com (yes, this is the place where you get your articles written from) as a buyer. Now, Click on the Get Content tab:

Follow the instruction in the screenshot above i.e get a 400 words article written and choose basic writers. In the keywords box put in any of the following: Joomla, Wordpress, Magento, Drupal, CMS platforms, web hosting, DNS configuration, VPS hosting etc. Each project is going to cost you $2.50. In the category box select blog post. Post 10 such projects. You basically want 10 different articles on technical matters. There s also a special instructions box where you will tell the writer that they need to choose a technical topic around the

keyword you provide and the content needs to be impeccable. Tell them if they write good stuff you will give them a five star rating. Yes, the benefit with iwiter is you only pay if you like the content, else you just reject it and other writers can take it up. Once someone has completed your order, you will receive an email asking you to check the order. You will then login again on iwriter and check the quality of the order. If you are satisfied, download the article and give the writer a five star rating. If you are not satisfied, you can either request a rewrite or reject the article so someone else can take up the project. So, 10 articles is going to cost you $25. Now, go to ezinearticles.com and sign up for free as a writer. Post 10 articles there one by one in your account and copy the link address of all ten of them. These are your work samples! When you start receiving replies from your prospects after your freelancer has emailed them, so of them will ask for samples.

Send over links to your works on ezine so your clients can check the quality of the work. What After Sending Work Samples? Okay, so you have now sent across some work samples to people who requested them. That means some of them are going to order your services. If you don t hear from your clients within a week after sending work samples, send them a second email: Hi, Just dropped in to say hello to you all. Was wondering if you ve had a chance to check out my work samples that I sent you last week. Please let me know how soon we can get started. Thanks. This will get you replies from those who didn t reply after requesting work samples. What Next? Pricing You will now have customers asking for your pricing. Some of them will tell you to send a quote too. Now, this is tricky. You need to first find out your total expenses. Break it down to a single article.

For example on iwriter each article would cost you $2.50 (there are pricier options if you want your stuff written by higher ranking writers) and then the cost of the samples and also freelancer charges for sending out emails. Typically it comes to not more than $4 an article. Sometimes less. So, if you price your articles at $8 a piece you ll have a healthy profit. But for your buyers, you need to create slabs. Here s my pricing: $15 per article for 1-20 articles $12 per article for 21-40 articles $10 per article for 41-60 articles $9 per article for 61-100 articles $7.5 per article for 100+ articles $1350 (monthly retainer 200 articles per month (aim for this whenever you get a chance) Note: Try to get into a monthly price for a monthly requirement. That way you will have consistent income for months as long as you can keep the client happy. Now, that pricing not absolute. I have clients paying me $15 an article and also clients paying me $7.5 a page. So, it all boils down to how well you can negotiate. Tip: While negotiating prices, DO NOT BOW DOWN LOW just to get an order. Figure out your profit margin and be a bit rigid if you have to. Trust me, customers love that even if they don t tell you that on your face.

What After Agreeing On A Price? Right after your customer and you have agreed upon a price, tell him to send you some upfront money. You will use that to get the orders done on iwriter.com There will be some who won t want to trust you with upfront money be rigid with them and tell them you will send them a paypal invoice for the upfront before they pay you. That way they would be protected and no chance of losing money. If someone still doesn t want to pay upfront, simply loose him! NEVER PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET on iwriter.com ALWAYS insist on an upfront payment (no matter how small), deliver equivalent work and then again take a payment. Once you have an established working relationship with a client, money isn t going to be an issue. Make sure you are available on Skype chat for at least some time for all your clients so they can discuss their requirements with you. Earning Potential It s huge. If you have just 15 clients and each one even orders the bare minimum of 10 articles (they keep ordering actually) and if you charge $15 per article, that s $2250 right away!

Even after paypal fees, Freelancer fees and buying samples, you d have at least $2100. I consider that damn good for just 30 minutes of work a day! Keep doing the client finding: thing everyday and you will have a full fledged business pulling in thousands every month on complete autopilot. Can the client finding work be outsourced? Making it a complete autopilot system is possible!! The good news is YES. You can turn this into a complete autopilot business. I already showed you how to outsource the email sending task. Similarly you can hire a freelancer to find out the clients for you using the traffic sources mentioned here. Guess what? I do it that way! You need to tell freelancers that they have to pull up 200 addresses from different locations and put them in an.xl file and send over to you. I usually pay no more than $40 for 200 addresses. It can be had for a lot cheaper, but I want the freelancer to be happy and give me working emails and not some cooked up crap so I pay a bit higher for the job. Once you get the.xl sheet with 200 emails, take the sheet and send it to the second freelancer for the emailing process.

Now here s the funny part: W-Cash, Angshuman Dutta Having a Virtual Assistant I have a VA (virtual assistant) I hired from Freelancer.com you can get them on Warrior Forum and Fiverr.com too who coordinates the entire process. I pay $300 per month to my VA. He gets the emails from the freelancers, sends over the list to the emailing person and also delivers orders. He gets them written on iwriter.com and then sends over to clients. What Do I Do? I consider myself to be a good negotiator and that s exactly what I do! I negotiate prices with clients and also collect the payments. If you want to do it the exact same way I do, NEVER let your VA handle negotiation and payments. Do that yourself. Let you VA only coordinate the process of getting and delivering orders. And, tell your VA you will give him a profit cut if he gets you high value orders. Note: Don t hire a writer as your VA you will lose your business. Hire a sales person. That s what I did.

So, if you want to automate the process completely, you actually can. I do not spend more than 15-20 minutes a day for this business. On some days I don t have to spend any time at all. Just remember this: Getting clients is the easy part keeping them doing business with you on a regular basis is the difficult part. Just because you have a turnkey model doesn t mean a client can be neglected. Always answer to their queries fast and always check the quality of the work before sending out. Now, go make money! Thanks, Angshuman. P.S Don t forget to collect your bonus items Important Announcement
