Setting up LAN Static IP on PC We need to set up a Static LAN IP address on your computer to access the device configuration. 2 1. Click on the Start Menu 2. Type network and sharing into the Search box in the Start Menu and select Network and Sharing Center when it appears. 3. Once Network and Sharing Center is open, you will want to click on Change Adapter Settings.
3 4. Right click on Local Area Connection and left click on Properties. 5. Double click on the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
6. Select Use the following IP address Type- IP address: 192.168.1.10 Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 Click OK 4

How to find your wireless security key in a Linksys router? 6 1. Open up browser ( Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, etc.) 2. Type in the address bar http://192.168.1.1 3. This should prompt you for a login screen. Username: admin Password: admin Note: After you type the username and password and it still prompts to enter that information, you may have set up the router with your own login information. 4. Click the Wireless tab, on some Linksys router configuration screens you may have to choose Manual then click the Wireless Security sub-tab. 5. Your current wireless security passphrase will be displayed. This is your wireless network s security key or password.
How to find your wireless security key in a Netgear router? 7 1. Open up browser ( Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, etc.) 2. Type in the address bar http://www.routerlogin.net or http://192.168.1.1 3. Enter the router's username and password. The default username is admin, the default password is password. 4. From the left-hand navigation menu of the Router administration interface, select Set Up > Wireless Settings Note: On some routers this option will be under BASIC > Wireless. 5. From the center screen, you find the current wireless security settings under the Security Options heading. If the wireless network passphrase is visible, review it and use it to log devices onto your network. How to find your wireless security key in a Belkin router? 1. Open up browser ( Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, etc.) 2. Type in the address bar http://192.168.2.1 3. If you never created any custom password, leave the field blank and click Submit. It is because most of the Belkin devices are shipped without a default password. You can also refer to your router docs to check the login details. 4. When logged in, click Security under Wireless in the left hand panel. Remove checkmark from the box next to Obscure PSK. You can now see your key in the Pre-shared Key (PSK) box. Note down the key and then recheck the Obscure PSK box. It will make your network key blur again to protect your privacy. Click the Apply Changes button and exit the router interface.
8 Find your wireless security key using Windows 7 or Windows 8 If you have a computer running Windows that is connected to your wireless network, you can find the password by doing the following: 1. Click the wireless strength indicator on the Windows 7 taskbar (bottom right corner). If you re using Windows 8, do this step from the Desktop. This means clicking on the Desktop Tile on your Start Menu. 2. Right-click your wireless network name, and then select Properties. 3. Select Show characters to display the wireless network password.
Hooking up the Device 9 1. Plug device into electrical outlet. 2. Plug Ethernet cord from computer to device. Example shown below. 3. Turn power the power switch to on. You will find this on the bottom of device. Logging into device 1. Open up browser ( Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome, etc.) 2. Type in the address bar http://192.168.1.2 3. This should prompt you for a login screen. Username: admin Password: 1234
Configuring your settings 10 1. Click on the wizard button. 2. On this Screen Get from DHCP Server should be selected. Click Next.
Choose your Network and then click Next on the bottom of the screen. 11
Type your router security key and click Next 12 This screen verifies the key. Once the screen says Success, click Next.
This is the Summery Screen. Click Apply if you want to save this link for future use. Click Exit. 13
