INSTRUCTOR INFORMATION
Hi! How are you? My name is Tara Franzinelli, and I am the founder of The Jungle Body, a fitness company that offers wild & exciting group fitness classes. We currently have over 35 Instructors in Australia and are growing every week! We provide training to Fitness Instructors for the following four classes: Konga - a dance based fitness class that includes hip hop, pop, old school, 70s, 80s, boxing and Yoga! Vypa - the hardcore class inspired by Cage Fighters, Professional Footballers and Boxers. Jagua - inspired by Musical Therapy where you tone, sculpt and stretch your body to your all time favourite hip hop, pop and oldies music. Tyga - a hip hop based fitness class which has you moving to the biggest and best RnB/Hip Hop tracks! All classes follow "The Formula" which is used by every single Jungle Body Instructor which makes sure every class is simplistic, easy to follow, uncomplicated and allows every participant to work to their own intensity. Gone are the days of classes you can't keep up with, or you are left shuffling around! It also is just as easy to teach a Jungle Body class as it is to do! So no stress! In the course you also learn to teach your classes to the elderly and kids. Once you have completed the course you are a qualified Jungle Body Instructor in whatever class you did the training in (Konga/Tyga/Vypa/Jagua). You then work for yourself. You can work in gyms, halls, dance schools, schools or Elderly homes wherever you like. The Jungle Body does have relationships with gyms and health clubs and can help you find a job once you are qualified. Please read the document attached for more info! Want to become a Jungle Body Instructor? The Jungle Body is an unprecedented fitness company that offers wild & exciting classes and a clothing range that fuses fashion and fitness. The Jungle Body was founded by Australian Personal Trainer and Fitness Instructor Tara Franzinelli. Tara found that group fitness had become dull, lifeless and ineffective. She created The Jungle Body with the philosophy to make health and fitness fun and wild for anyone and everyone. There are four types of instructors you can become. You can teach Konga, Tyga Vypa, Jagua all of them, or just one of them. The Brochure attached will explain to you very clearly what each fitness class is. In short, Vypa is a hardcore fight based class, Konga is a dance based fitness class, Tyga is hip hop fitness and Jagua is a stretch and tone musical therapy class. To become an Instructor you must complete a training course. Throughout the two days you will learn; how to create, develop and maintain your classes. how to shape your class for kids, teens, the elderly or advanced participants how to run a successful business (legal requirements, industry requirements, marketing, advertising, promotion) The course is 50% practical learning and 50% online/text book learning. You will leave the course knowing how to have successful classes - that last not just one month. Once completing the training course you will begin receiving all the dance moves, music playlist suggestions, marketing/promotional material and discounts every 4 weeks. This will ensure that every Instructor is consistent, effective and successful. Having new choreography every 4 weeks also keeps your classes fresh and exciting! People never ever get bored in Jungle Body classes. Many current Jungle Body Instructors now teach their classes full time to adults, kids and the Elderly. Many instructors work for gyms 1-2 times a week and in their own halls/rec centres 3-4 times a week. Jungle Body Instructors simply send out an email or letter to the places they would like to work at and then the fun begins! If an Instructor is struggling to find a place to work, The Jungle Body will work with you to find a location in your area! Feel free to contact any Jungle Body Instructor to ask them how they find the Jungle Body and their experiences. Some instructors average 40-50 people per class, earning $400-$500 a class! How do I get the music to teach my classes? The Jungle Body tells you the music to put the steps/choreography to and you must download this music. We use REAL music, not dance remixes or typical Fitness Music. This is why Jungle Body classes are so popular, because people know the songs, they know the beats and the music is so enjoyable. Music costs roughly $1.50 per song, and there are usually 10 songs per
month you need to download. Many of the songs you may already have! How long does the certification last for? The certification lasts for 18 months. At that point there is a renewal online course which costs $150. This then renews your certification for another 18 months. This online course ensures you are keeping with The Jungle Body Philosophy, maintaining the passion and have the necessary knowledge to keep your classes at their best. Can I get CEC Points? The Jungle Body is currently in the process of becoming a certified program with Fitness Australia. This will take another few months before it is complete. Once this occurs, all Jungle Body Instructors will receive the CEC Points for the course. Will I need to get my own insurance and what other costs will I need to pay? Part of the training includes all your information on legal issues. You will leave the 2 day training course knowing exactly what to do to protect your business, your participants and you. To obtain your own Personal Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance you will need to be a Certified Fitness Instructor (Cert III with Group Exercise) or have Dance Insurance. Some of The Jungle Body Fitness classes use REAL music, therefore you must pay a PPCA fee to use this music in your class. The beauty of Konga and Tyga is the use of real, authentic and original music, therefore the payment of this fee is an investment in the success of your business. What about PPCA Fees? Konga and Tyga use REAL music, therefore Instructors must pay PPCA fees to teach the class. This is currently 90 cents per class.
