How long will it take to receive the EMBA award? You will need 10 months to successfully complete 9 modules. You will then receive the EMBA award in the next immediate convocation that comes immediately after completing the programme. IPD-OUM convocations are held twice every year in the month of November. How are the lectures conducted? Most modules will be delivered through a hybrid approach. This means that the modules will be delivered in a style used during corporate training sessions. It will not be purely academic. It will be more applied & practical. We will therefore, encourage you to ask your Facilitating Lecturers for reasonable solutions to issues and challenges experienced by your brand and organisation. Imagine the benefits there! We do not intend to provide you with the standard academic texts that are often given to Masters Candidates; simply because we want this programme to make a difference to your strategic brand marketing capabilities. Expect the following - Two case-rich and practical books for every module (designed to transform and elevate your strategic capabilities) + Templates for selected modules and a Video CD (designed to transform and elevate your strategic capabilities). What is the one additional unique feature I must experience? Imagine a dialogue with at least SIX experienced brand marketing professionals to enrich you personally and professionally! These professionals will be experts in selected fields within the brand marketing function. Example: One may be the MD of a digital marketing consultancy, the other a seasoned marketing director, the other an experienced brand consultant. We will invite each of these professionals to have an intense dialogue with you and your peers for 2 hours each. The purpose is to share their experience with you and for you to seek reasonable answers to lingering doubts and workrelated challenges. What more can I expect? Expect to receive a set of templates you can use at work immediately. How will I be assessed? You will complete a 3500-word assignment and this will account for 60% of total marks. The remaining 40% will be based on a group project that must be presented in Powerpoint format by each member of assigned groups. The assessment mode is highly practical and absolutely applied. It will help you to unlock your potential, help accelerate your brand marketing capabilities and test your ability to perform in a team. How will I commit time to the programme as a working professional? Each module will require the following commitment form you: Attend the facilitation-cum-discussion sessions the first two weekends - Saturday after lunch till night, the entire Sunday next day, and the following week s Saturday after lunch till night. Total 18 hours. Then another 10 to 15 hours of outside preparation, including self-arranged discussions with your classmates. Approx. 10 to 15 hours of outside time to prepare your 3500-word assignment; and submitted during the fourth weekend. Approx. 10 hours of outside time to prepare your group project (to be presented in PowerPoint format). Candidates who travel frequently will find this schedule more convenient. 6

Can I manage my professional and personal commitments along with the Executive Masters in Branding & Marketing? This programme is specifically designed for working professionals. It will not be a problem to successfully engage in the programme if candidates know how to adjust their schedule smartly. In addition, some social and community activities may be reduced or postponed to complete the programme successfully. You may also have to delegate some of your work to your staff if necessary, and if possible. What if I have to miss a lecture?
