Costs: High School Student If you are registered with a high school, you are required to provide a completed enrollment form including: a signature indicating that the school division approves the tuition payment, the school division contact information for billing purposes, and the school administrator contact information for progress reporting will invoice the school division for the tuition of $500.00, plus the applicable refundable Caution Fee. If you are required to have a textbook(s) you may: pay a Refundable Caution Fee to the to borrow the book or borrow the required textbook(s) from your local high school, library or links are given in the textbooks section for free e-books Foundations Math & Pre-Calculus are workbooks that must be purchased from. Sponsored Students If you are an adult student sponsored from any Regional College the registration fee is $500.00 (exception: GED Preparation $200, non-refundable), plus the applicable refundable Caution Fee (if required). International Students residing in Canada are eligible to register for grade 12 courses. Tuition for International Students is $700 per course. Computer System Requirements: All of the courses require access to a computer with high speed internet connection. It is an asset to have good computer knowledge and skills. strongly recommends: Firefox 24 or higher Internet Explorer 9 or higher Google Chrome (newest) Safari 5.1 Desktop Software: Microsoft Office 2007 or newer Libre Office 4 or newer Adobe Reader X or newer Flash (newest) Enrollment Process: A three page Enrollment Form is attached. It is necessary for you to complete and sign these forms. You must submit the most recent transcript of high school marks. You must provide your email address for these classes. Email is the main method of communication with the College. Please be sure to print legibly when completing the Enrollment Forms. We will not be accepting new enrollment forms during the time period of June 20 August 20. You will be required to re-register if you have to extend your time line past the 12 months from the original date of registration. (Please note: you will be required to pay the registration fee again). Please Note: Your name will appear on a class list visible to others enrolled. Getting Started: You will be sent a link with a user name and temporary password from the welcome email Complete the online orientation on your own, or Videos are available on D2L If you are having trouble getting started, email gr12online@parklandcollege.sk.ca Assignments & Chapter/Unit Exams: Your assignments will all be done and submitted to your instructor on the computer. Regular feedback will be provided by your instructor. Unit/Chapter exams are open-book online exams submitted through your course. Final Exams: Final exams for Foundations Math 20, Pre-Calculus 20, Physical Science 20, Native Studies 30, Law 30, Psychology 30, and Social Studies 30 are closed-book online exams submitted through your course. The final exam will have to be completed at a College Campus or approved writing centre or school. These tests can be invigilated at a campus or a College approved writing centre such as a high school or library. If you do choose to write at another centre other than, you will be responsible for any invigilating costs. Final exams for BIO 30, ELA A30, ELA B30, Foundations Math 30, Pre-Cal 30 and Physics 30 are departmental exams from the Ministry of Education. They are closed-book paper-based exams that must be written on specific dates and times at approved writing centres as outlined by the Ministry of Education. Regular sitting departmental dates are JANUARY AND JUNE. All Enrollments will be scheduled for the June Departmental sitting. GED (2002 Series) Exam: To register and choose your GED exam time and location go to GED.com Please note: GED Testing in Saskatchewan is now available only as computer based tests. Page 3 of 6

Timeline: You will be able to set your end date upon registration. Please take into account the departmental exam dates available if your course requires a departmental exam. End dates can be extended upon request up to 12 months from original date of registration. The College will have an instructor available throughout the year but with limited access during July and August. The College recommends that you take one online course at a time. ONLINE GRADE 12 DISCONTINUATION AND REFUND GUIDELINES FOR STUDENTS REGISTERED WITH A REGIONAL COLLEGE OR SCHOOL DIVISION Requests to discontinue a course or to refund a course must be received in writing. Students attending a school or registered with a school or school division must provide written notice from the principal or a designate. For students under the age of 18, who are not registered with a school or school division, written notice must be provided by a parent/guardian. Course material must be returned in good condition before a refund will be issued. If the course material is not returned in good condition, the replacement cost of the material will be deducted from the refund. Refunds will be based on the date of receipt of the letter or email and/or accompanying course material. Refunds will be assessed on the following basis: - Within 30 days from the date of registration where NO assignments have been submitted for correction and the course textbooks are returned in good condition, will refund the tuition fees less the $200.00 registration fee. No refund will be issued until the material has been returned in good condition. - No refund of any fees or charges will be made after 30 days from the date of registration. - A cheque for a refund will be issued by.
