Retrofit INTERSCHALT replaces your old, obsolete systems with modern, proven NavCom equipment. Upgrades have proven to reduce operational costs and increase safety. A dedicated and specialized team focusing solely on upgrades is ready to revitalize your vessel. To make sure all refit installations are a success we follow a procedure consisting of four steps Design Our specialist carry out a site survey to gather the necessary information for a design or estimate to complete the initial tasks required for the detail design / engineering of an on board NavCom system to be retrofitted. The report includes a suggested system layout and forms the basis for a delivery contract. Engineering The system is carefully tailored to meet customer requirements and is outlined in an design document which includes cable planning. Installation Is done while the ship is in service or during docking, either by our own team of technicians, subcontractor or the customers own staff undersupervision of our engineer. Commissioning & Training Experienced commissioning engineers make sure that the systems are properly set to work. The engineers hand over the system to the customer s representative.
