A FRESH NEW LOOK FOR YOUR INVESTMENTS A handy reference guide We are delighted to bring a new look to the client portfolio screens on our website. We hope you enjoy using them; you might want to keep this guide to refer to the first time you log in after 1 September 2014. 1 LOGGING IN You still log in from the same place as usual and there is no change to the information you will be asked for it will be your User name / Account number, beginning IM, followed by 2 characters from your password and the 5 digit PIN that you have set up. If you have forgotten your Account Number, Password or PIN, please email us at information@7im.co.uk. 2 SECURITY QUESTIONS AND EMAIL ADDRESS We will be making your valuation reports available online in 2015 and will need to let you know when they are ready to view on the website. We will be doing this by email, so we will be asking you to enter or re-confirm your email address when you login. We will also need to capture your answers to 4 security questions if we don t already have these in our systems and will use these to identify you if you ever need to contact us by telephone. You will only be asked to complete the security questions once.

3 MY ACCOUNTS This now looks a lot more like the screens you will see in our app, 7IMagine. You can see an overview of your accounts with the option to drill down into more detail in several ways. You can click on the name of the account or you can click on one of the buttons under the pie chart to see additional data. 4 DETAIL PANEL Click on the magnifying glass to see the cash and assets that have been added to, or subtracted from, your account. 5 MY INVESTMENTS A list of all your holdings, with the added benefit of being able to click on any of the 7IM fund names and be taken to the full display of the underlying investments within the fund. You can sort this data by column and can switch to view the holdings for any of your other accounts by clicking on the arrow next to the account name.

6 VALUATION HISTORY This chart shows you what your investments were worth at any given point in the past; if you hover over any particular point you will be able to see the actual value shown in. You can see this as an overall view for all your accounts or you can change to see a specific account by clicking the arrow next to All Accounts and choosing the specific account you want to view. You can also change the date range by clicking the arrow next to the date at the top of the graph, which will automatically have displayed the last 3 months.

7 TRANSACTIONS This lists all the transactions that have taken place in a particular portfolio. You can sort this data by clicking the top of the column you want to view and also view the transactions within a date range by choosing the dates you want. Simply click the arrow next to the current date at the top of the page to bring up the calendar again and then choose the dates. You can also switch between accounts to view by clicking the arrow next to the account title. 8 ASSET ALLOCATION This will look very familiar if you have used the website before it shows a breakdown of each asset class within your holdings and the percentage of the portfolio in each asset. Hover the mouse over the chart for a description.

Group / Family Overview If you have any accounts that are linked to others family members perhaps, or other Trustees, you will also be able to see an overall picture of all the accounts and then be able to drill down into each account to see more detail. Click on this icon to see the details we hold about you. Simply contact your Financial Adviser (if you have one) or your Relationship Manager at 7IM to update any information. If you want to send us a message or to see our address / phone number, click Contact Us. You can fill in the form to send us an email if you need help with anything. Once you have finished looking at your portfolio, click Logout to end your session. 7IMAGINE If you haven t tried 7IMagine yet, give it a try by downloading it for free it will give you access to your portfolios on your phone or tablet. Search for 7IMagine

AUGUST 2014 CLIENT PORTFOLIO SCREENS FAQ Log On Don t know your IM number When you first open an account with 7IM we will send you a Welcome Letter with your user name (IM Number) and password. You will need to login to your account within the first 30 days to complete your security questions and set your own PIN number. If you need any help in viewing certain aspects of your account please call us on 0207 760 8777. Can t remember your password? Please contact us on 0207 760 8777 or email information@7im.co.uk and we will arrange for a new password to be sent to you in the post. I can t remember my PIN either? If you have lost or forgotten your PIN please contact us and we can re-set the PIN for you. I ve been prompted for a new PIN Why? This will be your first time logging in to see your portfolio. You will need to choose a five digit PIN code. You will also need this PIN code for logging into 7IMagine. I ve been prompted for security questions and my email address Why? We take your security very seriously at 7IM so require a few more details in order to protect your identity and investments; these include your email address and security questions. We use these to securely identify you if you were to contact us for information on your accounts. It says my account has been disabled As an additional security feature, if you try unsuccessfully to access your account online 3 times or more, your account will automatically become disabled. Should this happen, please call us on 0207 760 8777 and ask for the 7IM Helpdesk for them to re-enable your account. If you experience any difficulties in using the website, please contact the 7IM Helpdesk. How is this different to 7IMagine? What is 7IMagine? 7IMagine is our mobile app available to download from both the Google Play and the App Store just search for 7IMagine. Once downloaded you can log in using the same details as you have for the client portfolio log in but you must have logged in to the website first. My Overview What can I see here? This refreshed screen provides a clear summary of all your accounts in one place which allows you to access valuation history, since inception, and asset allocation for all portfolios both one click away. If you want to see these details and more (my investments and transactions) for individual portfolios then just click on a specific account listed to bring up these options. What is the tick under the cash column? If there is a tick, this means there is cash available in the portfolio to invest. Hover over the tick to see the amount available. What is the Value Box on the right? The box on the right hand side of the screen is the investments at a glance box, this gives you a quick summary of your account or portfolio (depending in which level and screen you are in 01

CLIENT PLATFORM SCREENS My Investments What is this screen showing me? The my investment screen is where you get a detailed breakdown of all of the investments you hold in your portfolios including; gains or losses. If you hold any 7IM funds you can click on them to bring up a snapshot of these holdings. I don t understand the amounts. See the table at the bottom of the screen if you hover your mouse over the amounts you will get a brief explanation if you still have questions give us a call on 0207 760 8777 or speak to your financial adviser. Why is there no data showing? If the message There are currently no investments within this portfolio shows then this is a portfolio that contains no investments all investments will probably be in a different tax wrapper. Select another portfolio from the drop down box above the table. Generate Positions Report What is it? A positions report will show all of your holdings for the selected portfolio at the most recent date, this will show you the Cash, Equities, Mutual Funds etc and their costs, price, market value, yield and gain/loss. If you require a specific backdated report please contact us so we can generate this for you. Valuation History What is this screen showing me? This graph shows you exactly what your investments were worth at any given point in time since you opened your account. This is a clear way to show how your portfolio has been affected by investment gains and losses or any transactions made on your accounts (Point the mouse over the line and to see your account values at specific periods and adjust the date ranges if required). The message There are no historic positions to display has shown why? If this message shows it means that this is a portfolio that contains no investments all investments will probably be in a different tax wrapper. Select another portfolio from the drop down box above the table. Asset Allocation What am I seeing here? On the asset allocation screen you will see an up to date view of the percentages of each asset class that you hold in your portfolio or the total of all of your accounts. You can point the mouse over the chart to highlight a section and swap between individual portfolios or all accounts via the dropdown. Transactions What is this screen showing me? The transactions screen will show you all of the activity on your account for each specific portfolio across a range of dates. I can t access my transactions for all my combined accounts Why? Transactions are only available once you have drilled down into portfolio level you can change which portfolio you are currently in by selecting the dropdown box above the table. 02

CLIENT PLATFORM SCREENS Can I sort my transactions? Yes by clicking on the headers you will be able to sort the transactions list, clicking again will sort in descending order in the same column. Is it possible to download reports? Both a Contract Note PDF and Transactions PDF can be generated use the date range dropdown and portfolio dropdown to get specific reports. Why are the Contract Notes not generating? If you are having trouble generating individual contract notes click on the download contract notes button instead. Other I m in My Details and some of the information is out of date What do I do? Yes the new client platform/portfolio screens will work on your mobile device however we have an app that will bring you a new and innovative way of viewing your accounts. It is called 7IMagine and available from the Google Play Store and Apple App store try it today it s free! My screens look out of format can I do anything? Your screens can sometimes be affected by the type of browser you are using and also the version of the browser you have installed. Try changing the view mode by hitting F12 and selecting the most recent browser version or give us a call we are always happy to help. How secure is the 7IM client portfolio view? Our website incorporates 128-bit encryption. This means your data is protected and cannot be viewed by anyone else. All of your account details are held in the secure area of our site.
