[Every] course helped me prepare for my current ministry. Some became the foundation of my missiological thinking and others broadened and deepened my perspective on missions. The knowledge and insights that I got from my professors were immeasurable. With my education at Biola, I was able to look at today s missions in a completely new way and I can help God s people to prepare for their calling in this rapidly changing world. DOCTOR OF MISSIOLOGY 40 UNITS This professional doctoral degree further equips workers already engaged in intercultural ministry by deepening their understanding and application of lessons from history, theology and the social sciences. Many graduates of this program continue in their present ministries; others assume positions of leadership or of teaching and training others. The D.Miss. may be completed entirely on Biola s La Mirada campus, entirely at an extension site, or some combination of the two. For more program information and a link to class descriptions, visit COOK.BIOLA.EDU/PROGRAMS/DOCTORAL/DOCTOR-MISSIOLOGY CHIANG MAI, THAILAND EXTENSION CENTER The extension center allows Biola to bring quality cross-cultural education, training and mentoring to Christian workers on the field, enabling students from different organizations to learn from the professor and each other as they reflect on their ministries. HANSUNG KIM (D.MISS. 11) ASSISTANT PROFESSOR, ACTS, SOUTH KOREA All coursework for the Doctor of Missiology (D.Miss.) can be completed in Chiang Mai. 24 units of both the Ph.D. in Intercultural Education or Intercultural Studies can be completed in Chiang Mai.
