General Important Information General Information QUINCY BRANCHES Bank of Quincy locations will be closed for business on Saturday, October 31 st. All branches will reopen as HOMEBANK on Monday, November 2 nd. HOMEBANK Call Center will be operational from 8am to 2pm Saturday, October 31 st but will not have access to Bank of Quincy customer account information during this time. SERVICES Hour Telephone Banking 5pm on Friday, October 30 th, Hour Telephone Banking will not be available. It will be functional at 8am on November 2 nd. You will use the same log in credentials you used for Bank of Quincy. Internet Banking 5pm on Friday, October 30 th, Bank of Quincy Internet Banking will be view only. You may view your account balances but you will not be able to transfer money or pay bills until Monday, November 2 nd. Your existing username and password will convert over to HOMEBANK s Internet Banking site. Bill Pay 5pm on Friday, October 30 th, Bill Pay will not be functional. Please keep this in mind when scheduling payments in the future. Mobile Banking App Bank of Quincy Mobile App will no longer be functional as of 5pm on Friday October 30 th. You will delete your Bank of Quincy Mobile App. The HOMEBANK Mobile Banking App will be available for download anytime during the weekend but will not be functional until Monday, November 2 nd. If you have Bank of Quincy s Internet Banking, your username and password will convert to the HOMEBANK Mobile Banking App. If you do not have Bank of Quincy s Internet Banking, you will need to proceed through the enrollment process for the HOMEBANK Mobile App. Refer to the Technology section of this booklet for details on downloading and deleting apps from your phone. Web page The Bank of Quincy webpage will begin redirecting customers to the HOMEBANK site as of Monday, November 2 nd. Debit Cards Bank of Quincy debit cards will be functional thoughout and after the merger process. Your Bank of Quincy Debit Card will function until the time HOMEBANK re-issues new cards. Frequently Asked Questions Why are Bank of Quincy and HOMEBANK merging? Since there is already common ownership the combining of the resources of both our banks will have tremendous overall benefits for our institution and our customers. This merger will allow us to continue to be competitive with our products and services and keep up with technology and regulation. How will this affect me? Except in rare occasions, Bank of Quincy customer s account numbers will remain the same, but some might have to change due to duplication. If you are a Bank of Quincy customer your routing number will change. Your existing Bank of Quincy routing number will continue to be recognized for an extended period of time. The exciting thing for all our customers is you will now be able to bank at more locations! You will now have 6 convenient locations for all your banking needs MO - Palmyra, Hannibal, West Quincy, Centralia. IL 2 locations in Quincy. What is the effective date? The official merger date is October 31 st but the conversion process will begin on October 30 th at 5pm. This booklet will be your resource for all the details you will need to move through the merger process seamlessly. By 8am on Monday, November 2 nd the conversion process will be complete and you will be able to bank just as you have been used to. I have Direct Deposit, will I have to do anything to change that? No, your direct deposit will continue to be deposited into your account as before. Will my Bank of Quincy checks and debit cards continue to be functional? For your convenience your Bank of Quincy checks and debit cards will function as normal after the merger. Refer to the Important Account Information Page of this packet for additional details. I have scheduled transfers from one account to another set up in the system, will I have to set those up again? No, all existing scheduled and recurring transfers will function as normal. Will my account type, terms and fees change? You may see different account type and terms on the website after the merger but your account(s) will be grandfathered and terms and conditions will continue as before the merger. Will I be able to access my Internet Banking and Bill Pay the same way? During the conversion weekend you will be able to see your accounts in Internet Banking as view only. Bill Pay will be unavailable from 5pm on October 30 th to 8am on November 2 nd. Refer to the General Information Section of this packet for additional details. What happens to my Bank of Quincy Mobile App? At 5pm on October 30 th, the Bank of Quincy Mobile App will no longer be functional. You will delete that app and download the HOMEBANK Mobile Banking App on November 2 nd. See the Important Technology Information Section of this packet for instructions on how to download and delete apps on your phone. Will my Internet/Business Banking platforms remain the same? Internet/Business Banking platforms will look very similar to what you are used to. You will log into www.myhomebank.com to access your Internet Banking. Can I still make my loan payments here? Absolutely and you will now have 6 locations where you may conveniently make payments and banking transactions. Where will I call if I have questions about my loan? You will still contact us here and we can answer any questions you might have regarding your loan. And of course, you can contact the loan officer you have a relationship with as well. What will happen to the loan I have? There will be no change at all to your loan. You will still work with the loan officer you are familiar with and will be able to make payments and ask questions in the manner you are accustomed to. What happens to my IRA/CD/Safe deposit box/hsa/deposit accounts with the merger? Terms and conditions will remain the same. Refer to the Common Features section of this packet for more details. Will my FDIC insurance coverage change due to the merger? When Bank of Quincy and HOMEBANK merge, deposits from Bank of Quincy will be separately insured from the deposits of HOMEBANK for at least six months after the merger. This grace period gives a depositor the opportunity to restructure his or her accounts, if necessary. CDs from each institution are separately insured until the earliest maturity date after the end of the six-month grace period. CDs that mature during the six-month period and are renewed for the same term and in the same dollar amount (either with or without accrued interest) continue to be separately insured until the first maturity date after the six-month period. If a CD matures during the six-month grace period and is renewed on any other basis, it would be separately insured only until the end of the six-month grace period.
