Stats. SCHOOL ACTIONS A. New School Approval: Berklee College of Music (Online)Boston, MA The school s mission is to educate, train, and develop students to excel in music. The continuing education division of the college, Berklee Online, supports that mission and expands Berklee's reach beyond the physical campus, to students all around the world. Fontbonne University (Online), St. Louis, MO The University is a non-profit, co-educational Catholic institution of higher education, supported by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet in St. Louis, MO. They serve a diverse student population that includes international students from more than 27 countries, including China, Mexico, Saudi Arabia and Thailand, traditional students and nontraditional adult students. Johns Hopkins University (Online), Baltimore, MD JHU is known worldwide for undergraduate and graduate study, research, professional Practice, and patient care. Currently, JHU offers 230 degree programs at the baccalaureate, master's and doctoral levels across nine schools. Additionally, JHU offers many degree programs and certificates via online for working adults. JHU's libraries hold more that 4 million volumes and special collections and provides 24/7 access to more than one million electronic journals and e-books. Pedretti Power Yoga, De Pere, WI The school is Brown County's only Hot Yoga Studio offering Power Vinyasa yoga a style of yoga accessible to everyone regardless of age, ability and experience. Pedretti Power Yoga offers a 207-Hour Yoga Teacher Certification program, which prepares individuals to qualify as 200-Hour Register Yoga Teachers (200 RYT) through the Yoga Alliance. Rockford Career College, Rockford, IL RCC has a history dating back to 1862. Now, some 151 years later, Rockford Career College continues to provide the kind of training needed for companies to grow and for people to advance. They have kept pace with the needs of businesses over the years to ensure that the skills they need are the skills the school teaches. Travel Leaders Academy, Eau Claire, WI The Academy is a private vocational school which provides classroom training for entrylevel travel agents whether home-based or in a retail agency, independent contractor, travel specialist in a destination or niche market, cruise or tour reservationist, airline employee or car rental or hotel employee. University of Saint Mary (Online),Leavenworth, KS The University is a four-year Catholic liberal arts university founded by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth in 1923. Complaints Handled: Ackerman vs. Alignment Yoga - 3/3/2014 - Mr. Ackerman wanted a refund without having to sign an agreement. After discussion with EAB, Alignment Yoga and the EAB complaint investigation process, Mr. Ackerman signed the agreement to receive his full tuition refund and end the complaint. 6
Nicols vs. The College Network - 3/3/2014 - The College Network is not an educational institution but rather a test preparation/publishing company. Complaint referred to Department of Justice. Sliwicki vs. Health Touch Spa School of Massage - 1/17/2014 - student transferred to another massage therapy school. Health Touch refused to pay that school's costs to have student complete her massage therapy program unless she signed an agreement. The student refused to sign due to lack of trust. The EAB arranged a teach out with another school. Funding for the teach out school was paid by the EAB s Student Protection Fund. Zirbel vs. Radio1 Broadcast School Shane - 2/27/2014 - Complaint closed. EAB s investigation found no refund of tuition was due student. 7
