1 EDUCATIONAL APPROVAL BOARD ADMINISTRATIVE ACTIONS REPORT June 5, September 3, 2009 This report describes the activities that EAB staff performed in response to the board s oversight role under s.38.50, Wis. Stats. SCHOOL ACTIONS A. New School Approval: Globe University Madison East, Madison, WI The mission of Globe University is to provide education that enables its graduates to reach their career and life goals. To do this, the University invests in its students by providing knowledge and skills to support immediate employment goals and credentials, and provide a foundation for career opportunities. Globe University will open its new Madison-East location in January Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ Grand Canyon University (GCU) is an accredited, private, for-profit, Christian university located in Phoenix AZ. GCU offers online and campus-based bachelor's and master's, and doctorate degree programs through the Ken Blanchard College of Business, College of Education, College of Nursing & Health Sciences, and College of Liberal Arts. With an online and campus-based enrollment of more than 22,000 adults, GCU emphasizes individual attention for both traditional undergraduate students and working professionals.
