Gal 1 Prvide prfessinal develpment pprtunities in schl public relatins/cmmunicatin strategies. Offer regular wrkshps and presentatins based n input received frm annual membership survey, past event evaluatins and current member needs. Measure: Evaluatins will be cnducted after each prgram and thrugh the annual membership survey. Respnsibility: Vice President f Prgrams Prvide public relatins cunsel fr members thrugh services such as INSPRA Member Needs Help and the INSPRA Mentr Prgram. Measure: Opprtunities t receive PR cunsel will be evaluated in the annual membership survey. Respnsibility: Vice President f Membership Develp web-based resurces t assist members with cmmunicatins strategies and best practices. GOAL 3 Expand and enhance partnerships with ther rganizatins t supprt INSPRA s missin and gals. Fster partnerships with grups such as the Illinis Assciatin f Schl Bards (IASB), Illinis State Bard f Educatin (ISBE), Illinis Assciatin f Schl Administratrs (IASA), Illinis Assciatin f Schl Persnnel Administratrs (IASPA), Illinis Assciatin f Schl Business Officials (IASBO) and Public Relatins Sciety f America (PRSA), with a fcus n explring presentatin/panel pprtunities at their state meetings and utilizing their expertise at INSPRA events. Measure: President will review success with partnerships Respnsibility: President, Vice President f Cmmunicatins, Vice President f Prgrams Increase INSPRA s visibility and leadership in the public educatin arena thrugh participatin in the Illinis Educatin Rundtable (ILERT). Measure: President will review success with partnerships Respnsibility: Central Reginal Directr, r ther similarly lcated INSPRA member designee Develp and enhance reciprcal relatinships with ther NSPRA state chapters fr prfessinal develpment pprtunities such as cmmunicatins cntest judging, wrkshps, seminars and cnferences. GOAL 4 Ensure the lng-term financial stability f INSPRA. Develp a lng-range financial plan that includes investments (CDs, etc.). Measure: Secretary/Treasurer will evaluate Recmmendatins will be made t the entire Bard fr review and apprval. Respnsibility: Secretary/Treasurer Establish a level f financial reserves t supprt future perating expenses, and research pprtunities t invest mney back int the membership when pssible. Respnsibility: Secretary/Treasurer Annually review fee structures, and evaluate all prgrams fr cst effectiveness. GOAL 5 Fster and mdel quality cmmunicatins and engage in activities that demnstrate best cmmunicatins practices. Member cmmunicatin Maintain a website that is regularly updated t give members infrmatin abut prgrams, events and activities and ffers resurces fr members t imprve their practice in schl cmmunicatins. Measure: Website cmmunicatin will be evaluated thrugh website analytics. Respnsibility: Vice President f Cmmunicatins Keep membership e-mail distributin lists up t date and send regular e-mail cmmunicatin t all members. Measures: An e-mail distributin list will be maintained. Respnsibility: Management Services (reviewed by Vice President f Cmmunicatins) Prvide pprtunities fr members t cnnect with INSPRA infrmatin and each ther thrugh scial media. Measures: Opprtunities will be evaluated thrugh the annual membership survey, as well as member cmments and cmplaints. Respnsibility: Vice President f Cmmunicatins, Management Services Industry cmmunicatins Participate in educatin and PR industry events (such as NSPRA and Triple I seminars). Measures: Generate a list f apprpriate events, and track chapter member participatin. Measures: Track the number f applicatins annually t the Distinguished Service Awards (DSA) and the Cmmunicatins Cntest, and reprt this infrmatin t the Bard f Directrs.
