Multivendor Extension User Guide About This Extension: The market place extension gives merchants the ability to sell products through multiple drop shippers, vendors, and suppliers. It allows vendors to manage their own products, and notify them automatically of their new orders. The magento store owner will have complete control over magento features. Store owner should able to give provide granular control to vendors. For example, the store owner can allow vendors to create products but can't delete/edit them once approved by store owner. Vendor can create the products exactly like store admin in this extension. User will enable as a vendor & backend admin will approve the user as a vendor role. SO user can manage the vendor catalog. Installation: Steps to install this extension We recommend creating a backup of your site before installing any new extension,especially if it is a live site Please make sure you ve downloaded extension package compliant with your magento version.the Compliance information is stated in the package filename. Once you ve downloaded and unzipped the archieve. Upload the contents of the module package to the Magento root folder. This will not overwrite the existing Magento folders or files, only the new contents will be added. Magento root folder directory structure looks like, http://www.techflirt.com/tutorials/magentotutorial/magento-directory-structure-files.html After uploading is done, Log in your Magento administration panel to refresh cache by way go to System > Cache Management. Select all caches and take action Refresh then submit. You can check whether the module is enabled or not in Admin area.go to System > Configuration, under configuration select Advanced >If the Module is Enabled You can see option Enable for Mg_Vendorpanel, Mg_VendorCommision, Mg_VendorConfiguration, Mg_VendorRegistation, Mg_Vendorstore, Mg_PaypalAdaptive, Mg_Fsperitem. UnInstallation: In Admin area, go to System > Configuration, under Configuration select Advanced >Click on Disable Modules Output and select Disable for Mg_Vendorpanel, Mg_VendorCommision, Mg_VendorConfiguration, Mg_VendorRegistation, Mg_Vendorstore, Mg_PaypalAdaptive, Mg_Fsperitem and click Save Config button Clear the store cache under System > Cache Management. Multivendor Theme: In Multivendor Theme, You have to check new folder is there or not in unzipped Multivendor Theme file. Available new folder path is app\design\frontend\default
User Guidance: When we open Multivendor Extension, the Front-end look like this, In front-end, click on Vendor Registration link at Right side of the top location. Then we get the screen like this,
In Admin panel: You can create your own USER in Admin panel and also create ROLES whatever you want. Then you should assign that role to user. Open Admin Panel, Go to SYSTEM->VENDOR PERMISSIONS, in that we have 2 Menu items i.e., Vendors and Vendor Roles. The screen shot look like this, Then click on VENDOR ROLES in Vendor Permissions Menu item, then the screen looks like this,
Then click on Add New Role button Then we have to give Role info and Role Resources,
Then click on VENDORS in Vendor Permissions Menu item, then the screen looks like this,
Then click Add New User button and create new user. Then assign the Role to User.
