1 1 User Guide For Envelope Printing Add on Module For Tally.ERP 9 Release 2.0

2 2 About Envelope Printing We store Customer/Supplier Information such as Address & other Contact Details. This information gets stored in the Ledger (Customer/Supplier) Masters. Normally, we are unable to print these details. This can be achieved using Envelope Printing Module. Envelope Printing allows the user to print envelops for sending mail to Customers/Supplier. The user can define the size & place of printing the address on the envelope. Antraweb s R&D Team has designed this solution for Tally Users for whom this has proved a substantially useful in sending mails to customers. Main Features Enables Printing of Customer or Supplier s Contact Details Easy to use Time Saving User s Manual a) Mapping of TDL b) Activating the required Feature c) Procedure for Envelope Printing d) Configuring Print Settings for Envelope

The user can define the size & place of printing the address on the envelope.

3 3 a) Mapping of TDL 1. Attach the EnvolopPrintConfigure.tcp file as Account TDLs. Now Tally.ERP 9 users can upload the customized TDL programs from the Web Control Centre. To achieve this facility, user need to create a configuration pack and deploy it across sites belonging to an account. Uploading the customized TDL program files is a simple and easy task and the updates are dynamic. Please refer CBD for Account TDLs for more details. OR 2. To attach the EnvolopPrintConfigure.tcp file in Tally.ERP 9 you have to follow any one of the Steps below mentioned: a. Using Tally.ini i. Open Tally.ERP 9 folder ii. Open Tally.ini file iii. Include TDL filename and save b. Using F12 Configuration i. From Gateway of Tally menu Select F12: Configure Screen ii. Select the option TDL Configuration iii. Press F4: Local TDLs on button bar iv. Add the file name with directory path

6 6 Press F11 button from the Keyboard to move to the Company Features window. & selecting Accounting features (F1) Enable the feature Enable Envelope Printing Accept the Screen

7 7 c) Procedure for Envelope Printing For using the Printing Feature, move to the Welcome screen. Gateway of Tally Account Info Ledgers Display Now from the List, select the Customer/ Supplier/ Any other Ledger such as Banks, whose Address & Telephone Number you desire to Print.
