Why take the exam? Based on your current achievements, passing this test gives you one component toward achieving: HP Accredited Technical Professional (ATP) Rack and Tower Server Solutions Support V8 certification HP ATP - Rack and Tower Server Solutions Support V8 certification This certification attests that you can: demonstrate your in-depth understanding of the technologies deployed in HP Rack and Tower Server Solutions based on HP Integrity and HP ProLiant Servers including the new HP ProLiant Generation 8 (Gen8) Server technologies and solutions describe and position the HP diagnostic tools, their purpose, and how to analyze customer problems develop, test and document an appropriate resolution to the customer problem(s) There are two paths to achieve this certification, as outlined below. The exams you must pass are dependent upon which achievements you currently hold. Path 1 This path is designed for service professionals who have the following certification: APS HP ProLiant ML/DL/SL Server Solutions [2010] If you meet these criteria, then passing the HP2-T25 alone gives you the certification. By completing this path, you will also be granted the HP ATP - Rack and Tower Server Solutions Support V8 certification. Path 2 If you do not meet the requirements for path 1, then you must complete this path, which is designed for new candidates. First, you must achieve the prerequisite, CompTIA Server+ or exam HP2-T16 Industry Standard Architecture and Technology. All candidates for HP ATP - Rack and Tower Server Solutions Support V8 certification must take the Servicing HP Rack and Tower Server Solutions (HP2-T25) exam.
