Eastern Kentucky University provides Doctorate s, Master s, Bachelor s, and Associate s degrees. Work with 695 full-time and 451 part-time faculty in a university employing 1664 staff members, generating a fall annual headcount of 16,000 and FTE of 16,000 per semester. Supervise Directors of Admissions, Financial Aid, Marketing, and Student Outreach and Transitions (SOTO). Assist in management of an annual institutional budget of $310 million and an Enrollment Management budget of $24 million in scholarships and $4 million operating. Initiated an Enrollment Management Advisory Committee to improve the recruitment and retention of students. Implemented communications management system. Implemented learning outcomes development and data driven management and assessment. Created SOTO department to improve recruitment and retention of nontraditional students. Collaboratively increased recruitment of first time students by 6% in 2009, increased retention by 5% from previous year to 68.5%, and increased enrollment by 2% in fall 2010. Between 2002 and 2008, headcount increased 72% and credit hours increased 44%. Developed new markets for recruitment of international and domestic students. Developed web registration process and distance delivery of services. Wrote and administered grants to provide student mentoring services and summer bridge programs.
