3 Company Profile Rescompany was founded in 2003 as a U.K. registered company by Tomasz Hanczewski and Thomas Pfitzer, both experienced professionals in the travel and IT industry. Funding was originally provided by a privately owned British Pension Fund but now is a self sufficient, profitable business. In 2005 a subsidiary of Rescompany was established in Australia under the leadership of Peter Winqvist, another travel and IT industry specialist. Having been involved in travel related software development since the beginning of the nineties, Mr. Hanczewski and Mr. Pfitzer saw a need for a reservation system that is able to integrate the customer data of a business as well as manage inventory and calculate prices. The software was originally designed with small and medium sized operators in mind, as they tend to have excellent customer databases, which become even more valuable when combined with a reservation system. Since 2003 Rescompany has supplied systems to cruise lines, wholesalers, tour operators, luxury train operators and hotel chains around the globe. Installations have been completed within the U.K., Germany, China, Australia, Fiji and the U.S.A just to name a few. Today Rescompany maintains offices in Salzburg, Sydney and Vancouver and by doing so is not only present locally for clients but can provide ongoing support around the clock. In its 5 years of operation Rescompany has been shaped by its customers. The following statements have been made by long term Resco users and speak for themselves. Even the name Resco was created by its users. This is much more then a reservation system! Resco is providing the tools of the big players to the smaller operators in the market place without breaking the bank! In early 2008 a new era started for Rescompany with the obtainment of two new companies. IisiI Software is a system which specializes in the development of shipboard property management including inventory management and POS (Point of Sale) and at the time of the company purchase IisiI had a total of 45 active shipboard installations.
4 Company Profile At the same time the opportunity arose to obtain a system called Meabis, which is a classic hotel management package. This system allows Resco to cover the specific requirements of hotel systems, combined with the Resco CRS it will be an excellent opportunity for both the company and its clients. All three systems are based on the same technology and now form a comprehensive product portfolio which is unique. 8 Availability Overview Users can choose between room overview or category overview. In room overview mode it is possible to extend or shorten reservations with simple drag and drop functions. Customer Relation Management 9 Complete customer relation management is available including links to related guest profiles (primary household contacts) and personal details of such profiles. CRM functions on a company level are available as well.
10 Guest Profile Guest profiles can be associated with custom marketing codes. Guest preferences, like room types or location, are tracked automatically. Full and easy access to guest history is available, per guest statistics are provided.
11 Guest Profile De-Duplication and merge profile functions are used to maintain good data hygiene.
12 Reservation Details FIT and group reservations are supported. Other reservation features: A/R handling optional reservations waitlist functions confirmation letters optional services (garage, equipment rental, etc.) can be added to reservations day by day (predefined and automated)
Front Office/Quick Check-In 13 Single and group check-in is supported. Minimum required guest information can be defined. Direct access to guest profile from check-in screen to retrieve/ update personal preferences at time of direct guest contact.
14 Guest Accounts Complete charge overview with drill down to guest check detail. Easy invoice splitting with drag and drop toggle between multi-window and tree view, depending on user preference. Routing instructions per charge type are supported.

System Configuration/Set-Up 16 An extensive system set-up area is provided which allows the user to customize the application to the specific needs of the property. Part of the site specific configuration is the user group management where access rights to the various parts of the system are controlled.
17 System Configuration/Set-Up The price management of the system allows for price set-up per day, season, room, person, etc. Meal plans (half board, full board, etc) and packages can be managed as well. Predefined discounts can be created and centrally managed.

Work Order Tracking System 20 The AVO application is used to record, track and follow up on repair requests and work orders. Each AVO is assigned a unique reference number and is tracked until it is reported as completed and accepted as completed. The follow up function provides a summary of work orders issued by which department and to which addresses. Further, the status of an AVO can be changed, it can be redirected, re-issued or cancelled.
21 POS (Point of Sale) In contrary to other systems, the POS is residing on the same database as the. Therefore, no separate charging interface is required. Standard windows hardware based on touch screen technology can be used, there are no proprietary components.
