Completed a total of 320 hours of experiences that were accrued and documented. Synthesized the essential knowledge and skills necessary to be a school leader. Reflection and refinement of skills and knowledge was part of a professional portfolio. Integration of theory and practice took place in the internship as evidenced by documented experiences in a school/school district setting supervised by an approved professional and university instructor. January 2005 March 2005 Hermitage High School Richmond, Virginia School Counseling Intern School internship where I actively participated in guidance counseling activities for a student population of 3,000. Responsibilities included completing transcript requests for students applying to college as well as completing technical school applications for students in the special education program and general population. Assisted with the coordination of standardized tests for the state of Virginia and responsible for extensive knowledge of graduation requirements and various degree programs for students.
