Iridology is a non-invasive method of diagnosis using the iris (coloured portion of the eye) to gain insights into specific aspects of health. Every organ and tissue in the body is represented on the iris map, and dysfunctions in the body will show in the iris, often long before physical symptoms appear. During your Iridology consultation, photographs of your iris are taken with a specialised video camera and projected onto a computer screen to be carefully examined. This makes it possible for you to see first hand how analysis has been made. With this information a health programme can be developed which is tailored to your specific needs. SCIO (Scientific Consciousness Interface Operations System) What is SCIO? Simply put, the SCIO is a revolutionary device that assists health practitioners to find and remove energetic imbalances and blockages occurring in the body. How does it work? All metabolic activity in the body is controlled by electromagnetic vibrations that communicate and radiate from every cell. An imbalance at any level, whether physical, emotional or spiritual, that impedes this natural energy flow will compromise to some degree the quality of one s health. This will sooner or later lead to a change in physiology and ultimately some form of illness. The function of the SCIO is to find the energetic imbalances of stressors such as viruses, nutritional deficiencies, allergies, parasites, organ abnormalities, and chemical and food sensitivities. It measures over 10,000 different substance frequencies and this data offers an understanding of your body needs, dysfunctions and weaknesses. The information focuses in on your energetic body, which offers a more complete view of each facet of your health. And after the initial test is complete? Floatation Therapy What is floating? As explained by a pre-eminent scientist floating is a method of attaining the deepest physical and mental rest that humankind can experience. Essentially, it s spending an hour or so floating quietly in the dark, suspended in a warm solution of highly concentrated Epsom salts, about 12 inches deep, and so dense that you float effortlessly. In the zero gravity environment of the float room all muscle groups relax at the same time, and the brain, freed from external stimuli, enters a deep state of physical and mental relaxation, rather like hypnosis. During the float we play some gentle music to help you relax. Isn t it claustrophobic? We do not use float tanks, rather float rooms. They are so large that you can stand up inside them. The full size door is only opened or shut by the person floating and the light switch is on the inside so you are in total control of your environment. What effect does floating have on the body? Not only is it the ultimate in relaxation, it is a much needed antidote to the stresses and strains of 21st Century life. Research shows that floating measurably reduces blood pressure and heart rate whilst lowering the levels of stress related
chemicals in the body. Old injuries and aches, (especially backache) experience relief as floating helps blood circulation. Floating is used widely in the treatment of stress, anxiety, jet lag and to improve concentration and creativity. Also, one hour of floating has the restorative effects of up to 8- hours sleep! How long does it last? The float session lasts one hour and fifteen minutes including showering and dressing time but allow extra time as it s important for you to relax after your float. We have a comfortable lounge for you to use afterwards with a complementary cup of herbal tea. What do I need to bring? Just yourself really. You have your own private shower and changing area so there is no need to wear a swimming costume and we supply towels and shampoo. It can be extremely beneficial in helping to minimise the various discomforts such as backache, swollen legs and ankles, nausea and insomnia, to name but a few! You will be comfortably supported through-out the massage thanks to the specially designed maternity massage mattress which can allow for a full body massage whilst lying on your tummy at all stages of your pregnancy. Lymphatic Drainage Massage 60 mins 50 Lymphatic Drainage Massage encourages stimulation of the body s lymphatic system. The lymphatic circulatory network regulates the balance of the body fluid and helps with the removal of wastes from the tissues. A well functioning lymphatic system contributes to good health and vitality. Lymphatic Drainage Massage is especially designed to relieve blockages, promote the removal of wastes and reduce water retention in the tissues. Reflexology 60 mins 50 This treatment totally concentrates on your feet, using them as a map to your entire body. It has been shown that nerve endings on the feet are connected to all the glands, internal organs and every part of the body. By applying pressure with the thumbs and fingers to reflex points on your feet, the corresponding parts of the body are stimulated, correcting imbalances in the body by reflex action. It has been found to be useful in the treatment of many ailments including stress, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, sinus, muscular-skeletal problems, PMS symptoms as well as a general means of relaxation and health maintenance. Ear Candling 40 mins 40 Ear candling involves the use of a hollow candle, which looks like a thick straw coated with wax. It is placed gently in the ear and the outer end is lit. The flame creates a gentle warm air vacuum in the auditory canal that draws out wax and accumulated debris from the ears. Because the eardrum is semi-permeable, fluid can also be evaporated during candling. This benefits sinus sufferers greatly. Ear candling is used to bring relief from wax build up, hearing problems, sinus problems, earaches, headaches, vertigo and tinnitus.
