My Green Lunch has partnered with Khan Lab School! We are thrilled to announce the launch of My Green Lunch at Khan Lab School. My Green Lunch is a locally owned and family operated business founded with a specific mission, to provide a delicious, fresh, nutritious, economical, and environmentally sustainable lunch program to Silicon Valley schools. We strive to source all of our food products (meats, dairy, fruits and vegetables) from sustainable family farms within a 250 mile radius of our commercial kitchen in San Jose. We are raising the bar on school lunch, offering multiple hot and cold entrees daily (meat & vegetarian), a seasonal organic fruit and vegetable. You'll have a choice to select from at least (8) different options each day, ensuring that you have a wide variety of options that meet your child's specific tastes and preferences. The foods we provide are the same as you will find at Whole Foods, Sprouts, Trader Joe's, and your local farmers market where we shop each week. Brands you can trust such as Clover Stornetta, Diestel Turkey, Niman Ranch, Applegate, Earthbound Farm, Udi's, Sukhi's, Coleman Natural, Annie's, Organic Valley, and more. We believe Food should be about: Fresh Food should come from farm to school, not the factory to school Education Teaching children where your food comes from Sustainable Teaching children the choices they make effects the environment, including how we source food and the use of sustainable packaging Culture Food should foster a sense of community and embody many cultures Health Food should be Real Free of chemicals, hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides What Defines Our Food? Answer: My Green Lunch will be sourcing only the highest quality and freshest food for your children; this requires careful planning and sourcing. Our goal is to be sustainable and affordable, to this end we need to minimize food waste that can occur when over ordering. These factors necessitate that all orders be placed no later than 1 day before lunch service. We encourage parents to place orders for the month so that you do not miss placing orders. Example: Sunday by 9:00AM for Monday Monday by 9:00AM for Tuesday Tuesday by 9:00AM for Wednesday Wednesday by 9:00AM for Thursday Thursday by 9:00AM for Friday 2: How can I pay for My Green Lunch meals? Answer: Parents can order online using a credit card (Visa, MasterCard or American Express). Please note that My Green Lunch is a pre-paid service. 3. How often do I have to order? Answer: You may order for as many days or as few days as you want to for the entire month. Note that we have a $.30 transaction fee per order that is credited to your account if you purchase more than $15.00 (about 3 lunches). We encourage you to place the order for the month and cancel and/or change as you need to (just do so 2 days in advance). Please note that once you have created an account, we will send out a courtesy email no more than twice a week to remind you that lunch has not been ordered. Simply opt out if you're not interested in receiving notifications. 4. How do I manage my order history and track what I purchased? Answer: You will receive a confirmation order summarizing what you purchased for your child for the month. You can also download and synchronize all of your child's purchase for the month into Google or Outlook for easy recall of what was ordered. You can also login to your account to view both calendar and list view. 5: How do I cancel an order? Answer: To cancel an order, click on the Order tab. Go to the date that you want to cancel, and click on the menu item you have ordered, which will be highlighted. This will bring up a window to the left, and at the bottom you can select Credit Purchase. Then you can go back to the top of the calendar, and see the amount that has been credited to your My Green Lunch account. This credit will provide you with the ability to purchase another lunch for that month or save it for a future month. 4

6: How long do I have to cancel an order? Answer: In the event your child is sick, you have until 9:00AM the day before lunch is served to cancel an order to receive 100% credit.
