AKC OBEDIENCE REGIONAL QUALIFYING EVENT These trials are a REGION 6 QUALIFYING EVENT, which allows exhibitors to qualify for the March 2016 AKC National Obedience Championship as follows: Must have a UD prior to the event Must compete in both Open B and Utility B at all three trials Must have one of the top four cumulative scores for the three trials with 1200 points being a perfect score If any of the top four dogs are already qualified, the next highest scoring dog will move up. 2 3

NOTICE TO EXHIBITORS SHOW SITE will be available from approximately 2:00 pm to 7:00 PM on Thursday June 18, 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on Friday, Saturday and 7:00 AM to show close on Sunday. TRIAL EMERGENCY CONTACT NUMBER - (314) 707-1227 Phone is located at the secretary s table OVERNIGHT PARKING will be permitted in the upper parking lot, but no hook-ups or facilities are available. (Continue past the show site to the upper lot) FOOD SERVICE will be available at the concession stand in the lobby on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hours of operation will tentatively be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. NORTH ST. LOUIS COUNTY OTC, its members and the St. Louis County Parks Department assume no responsibility for loss, theft, damage or injury sustained by an exhibitor, handler, or any of their dogs or property and further assume no responsibility for injury to children. EXHIBITORS should follow their veterinarian s recommendations to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases, and have appropriate vaccinations. A RECORDING FEE of 50 cents for each dog and an AKC Event Service Fee of $3.00 will be required for each recordable single entry class at any Licensed or Member Club Obedience Trial. (American Kennel Club Rule, Chapter 11 Section 2). An AKC Recording Fee of $3.50 1st entry and $3.00 additional entry of the same dog will be required at any Licensed or Member Club Rally Trial. (American Kennel Club Rally Regulation, Chapter 1, Section 3) These Fees are paid to the American Kennel Club. ALL ENTRIES must have the agreement attached to the entry form. Entries may not be accepted, cancelled or changed after the closing date and time. CONDITIONAL ENTRIES. No entry shall be made and no entry accepted which specifies any condition as to its acceptance. CHANGES, ADDITIONS, OR CORRECTIONS to entries and entry forms must be received in writing or by Email prior to close of entries. NO ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED in the event that a dog is absent, disqualified, excused by veterinarian or judge or barred from competition by action of the Show Committee. NO ENTRY FEE WILL BE REFUNDED if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots, civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an act of God, public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause which is beyond the control of the Club or the Trial Secretary. RETURNED CHECKS do not constitute valid entry fees. BITCHES COMING INTO SEASON after close will receive a refund of their entry fee less $5.00 provided the trial secretary is notified prior to the start of the trial and written verification is provided by a veterinarian. DOGS MUST BE READY FOR JUDGING WHEN CALLED TO THE RING. Neither the club nor any ring steward will be obliged to call or notify exhibitors of when they are due in the ring for judging. Judges are not required to wait for any dog. ALL CELL PHONES must be turned OFF when in the show building. NCOTC reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value. TRANSFERS will be allowed per AKC regulations, provided that a written or Email request is made to the Trial Secretary at least one-half hour prior to the start of the trial. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog. Additionally, I (we) hereby assume the sole responsibility for and agree to indemnify, defend and save the aforementioned parties harmless from any and all loss and expense (including legal fees) by reason of the liability imposed by law upon any of the aforementioned parties for damage because of bodily injuries, including death at any time resulting there from, sustained by any person or persons, including myself (ourselves), or on account of damage to property, arising out of or in consequence of my (our) participation in this event, however such, injuries, death or property damage may be caused, and whether or not the same may have been caused or may be alleged to have been caused by the negligence of the aforementioned parties or any of their employees, agents, or any other persons.
