Leading the Network Revolution Mobigen was founded in 2000 and has provided innovative Operation Supporting Solutions (OSS), especially service assurance solutions, and big data solutions to telecommunication service carriers and enterprises. Since incorporated, we have grown based on our spirit of challenge and innovation, and we have drastically invested in R&D to develop and improve our solutions. Thus, we are steadily expanding our business fields. Business Area In Smart Cloud, Smart OSS and Smart Grid area, Mobigen s solutions manage wired/wireless communication network and service environment in a cost-effective and more efficient manner. In Smart Cloud, IRIS Bigdata solution helps prospective customers to explore the new values out of raw big data, which was unable to be processed simply because of the size. IRIS delivers most excellent performance including real-time search, statistics, and analysis of the time series data with a hybrid in-memory and on-disk database system. IRIS Bigdata solution features a distributed processing method, which enables you to process massive volume of data that the traditional DBMS cannot commit. With this method, you can simply scale out the storage capacity by adding additional data nodes. We have provided IRIS Bigdata solution to about 30 customer sites since 2008, such as SKT, LGT, Samsung SDS and some government agencies. IRIS Bigdata solution won the Grand Prize on New Software Awards which was given by Korean government in 2012. In Smart OSS, Mobigen has several solutions, such as packet-based service assurance solution, remote auto-configuration management, smart grid network management, network infrastructure management, Integrated network management and map-based network monitoring solution. Our solutions basically process, store and analyze all types of data collected from service equipment and networks across 2G, 1X, EVDO, 3G, and LTE multi-generation networks to provide service assurance functions, such as fault and performance monitoring and quality analysis of all layers including equipment, network, service, individual subscriber and phone. This allows Mobigen to develop and supply an integrated operational management system capable of delivering concrete management and control of overall operational work processes by communication service providers. Our customers in this field are SKT, LGT, KT, Samsung SDS. In Smart Grid, Mobigen provides network management solutions and develops Smart Meterbased AMR/AMI solutions, Integrated Smart Grid NW Management for supply in order to ensure October 2014 3
a more effective monitoring and control of end-to-end power network (power generation/t&d/customer premise). Employee Status The total number of Mobigen employees is 120 as of end of 2013. The number of employees increased about 10% to 13% every year mainly due to improvement of the current product and new product launch. And about 80% are research & development engineers.
