Requirements for a CAC II with a Masters or Doctorate degree in the behavioral health sciences: 1. Principles of Addiction Treatment 21 hours 2. Infectious Diseases in Addiction Tx 14 hours 3. Pharmacology I 14 clock hours 4. Pharmacology II 14 clock hours (Prerequisite is Pharmacology I) 5. Motivational Interviewing 21 clock hours 6. Group Counseling Skills 21 clock hours 7. Professional Ethics II 14 clock hours Completion of 2000 hours of work experience in the addiction treatment fi eld with direct clinical supervision by a CAC III, LAC at minimum of two hours per month for full time work. Passage of a national exam by NAADAC the MAC exam Course # 1, 5, 6, 7 may qualify for academic equivalent Requirements for a CAC III with a Masters or Doctorate degree in the behavioral health sciences: The applicant must meet all the requirements listed for CAC II, Plus the requirements listed below. 8. Clinical Supervision I 21 hours 9. Clinical Supervision II 14 hours (Prerequisite is both Advanced Motivational Interviewing and Clinical Supervision I) 10. Advanced Motivational Interviewing 14 hours (Prerequisite is Motivational Interviewing) Course # 10 may qualify for academic equivalent Completion of 3000 total hours of work experience in the addiction treatment fi eld with clinical supervision by a CAC III, LAC or other qualifi ed supervisor* at a minimum of two hours per month for full time work. Passage of national exam by NAADAC the MAC exam 6

STUDENT REGISTRATION INFORMATION Classes are fi lled on a fi rst-come basis based on receipt of tuition payment. To insure your slot in a class, register & pay your tuition early. Student Cancellation/Refund Policy: Student cancellations must be received 10 days prior to 1st day of class to receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 10 days prior to the fi rst day of the class will be charged the following administration fee: One day class = $25 Two day class = $50 Three day class = $75 If a student fails to cancel their class, there will be no refund Non-refundable classes: Due to OBH regulations (Offi ce of Behavioral Health) the following classes have very limited class size and as a result are non-refundable: Addictions Counseling Skills Motivational Interviewing Advanced Motivational Skills Clinical Supervision I Clinical Supervision II Course Material Please make sure to read course descriptions on website to make sure of any extra class material needed. TIME: All classes scheduled from 8:30am -5:00pm daily. Discounts on class registration: To receive the early registration discount, just register and pay 10 days in advance of the class. You ll automatically receive a discount on your tuition. Odyssey Class Cancellations Policy If Odyssey must cancel a class, students will be notifi ed at least 10 days prior to class start date by phone and will receive a full refund for that class or a tuition transfer to another class. 18

Snow Policy: Classes will be canceled in: Denver when Denver Public Schools close. Co. Springs when El Paso Co District 11 schools close. Re-schedule In the event of snow cancellation, every attempt will be made to reschedule the workshop or full tuition will be refunded or applied to another class. Other important Information: There is plenty of FREE PARKING in our well-lit parking lot. A microwave & refrigerator are available in the student lounge for lunches Enjoy eating lunch at the deli in the building or at several restaurants nearby.
