The formation of LINZ AG took place especially with regard to the deregulation of the energy markets. A more modern and more market-oriented group of companies was created in order to exploit the synergy potentials, to reduce the costs and to ensure the revenues. Additionally, the basis for the focus as a multi utility provider was thus provided.
