System Requirements Various user interface access means, i.e. web browser, mobile apps, and PC client program, are supported for using the Cloud Storage service. The current version of this document describes how to use the Cloud Storage service over web interface and Android application. The following are the minimum system requirements for different access means: 1.1 1.2 Web Browser MS Internet Explorer 7 or newer Firefox 11 or newer Chrome 11 or newer Mobile Apps Android OS 2.1 or newer Accessing Cloud Storage using a Web Browser To use Cloud Storage using a web browser, follow the procedure below to access to the Business Netvigator Customer Portal, and logon to the service: Step 1: Open a web browser, e.g. Internet Explorer. Step 2: Type in http://www.biznetvigator.com in the URL address to access to Business Netvigator Customer Portal. Step 3: At the [Customer Login] section, type your email address in [Username] input box Step 4: Type your password in the [Password] input box. Step 5: Click the [Login] button. Page 4 of 37

If login succeed, the following Business Netvigator Service Portal page will be shown: Step 6: Select [My Toolbox] -> [Cloud Storage] from the top menu bar, the Cloud Storage home screen similar to the one below will be shown: Page 5 of 37

The Web Home Screen The Home screen is mainly comprised of 8 sections: (1) View Pane (switch between Cloud Storage tab and Record tab) (2) Usage Pane (showing the total and current usage size) (3) Global Command Pane (commands apply to current folder path) (4) Directory Pane (showing the current path folder and file list) (5) Properties Pane (showing the selected folder/file properties) (6) Operation Command Pane (commands apply to current selected files/folders) (7) Search Pane (input file for searching) (8) Language Pane (switch between available user interface languages) 2 7 8 3 1 5 4 6 1.3 The Directory Pane The Directory Pane provides an overview of the directory hierarchy of your Cloud Storage, and gives a quick access to any particular Folder and file directly. 1.4 The File Sorting Page 7 of 37

Simply click to the [Name] or [File Size] or [Last Modified] bar at top of the Directory Pane to change the sorting of the file/folder list. 1.5 The Folder Navigation Single click to the folder name will goes into the folder, clicking the [Parent Folder] at top of the file list will goes back to previous folder level. The top row in the Directory Pane is showing the current path of the Cloud Storage. Page 8 of 37

The Web File and Folder Management Staying at the Web interface Home screen (and stick on [Cloud Storage] tab of the View Pane), you can manage your folders and files easily with the following functions provided to you - Creating New Folder, File Uploading, File/Folder Downloading, File/Folder Renaming, File/Folder Copying/Moving/Deletion, Properties Viewing, File Searching, and Media File Playback. The following details the procedure on how to perform the mentioned functions above: 1.6 Creating a New Folder Step 1: Navigate to the folder path under which you would like to create the new folder. On the Global Command Pane, click the [New Folder] button. Step 2: A New Folder prompt will appear. Type in the name of the new folder and click the [New Folder] button. Step 3: The new folder will appear in your desire location. Please note it is not allow to use some symbols inside folder name otherwise you will see below error prompt. Top of the Directory Pane is indicating the current folder path. Folder and files are indicated using different icons as shown below. Page 9 of 37

1.7 File Uploading Step 1: Navigate to the folder under which you would like to have the file uploaded to. On the Global Command Pane, click the [Upload] button. Step 2: An upload prompt will appear. Click the [Add File] button to select the file you would like to upload. Step 3: A select file prompt will appear. Click the file (or hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard and then click multiple files), and then click the [Open] button. The selected file will appear in the file list below. Page 10 of 37

Step 4: Once all the files selected, click the [Upload] button to starting the actual file uploading. Depending on the size of the selected file(s) and your available bandwidth, the uploading process might take a little while. Page 11 of 37

Step 5 The new uploaded file(s) will appear in your desire location. 1.8 File and Folder Downloading Step 1: Locate and select desired folder(s) or file(s) in the Directory Pane by ticking the check box associated with the folder(s) or file(s). Step 2: On the Operation Command Pane, click the [Download] button to start download. Step 3: A message dialog will be shown to prompt for file saving location. Select your desire location where you would like the downloaded file to be saved to. Notes: If multiple files or a folder is chosen for download, the files or the folder will be zipped into a single file for easy downloading. 1.9 File and Folder Renaming Step 1: Select the folder or file you would like to rename by ticking the check box associated with it. (Only a single folder or file can be renamed at a time) Page 12 of 37

Step 2: On the Operation Command Pane, click the [Rename] button to bring up an input prompt. Step 3: Type in the new name you wish to rename the selected folder/file to, and then click [Rename] button to proceed rename. The file (or folder) will be renamed to newly assigned name. 1.10 File and Folder Copying and Moving Step 1: Select the file(s)/folder(s) you would like to copy or move by ticking the check box associated with the folder(s) or file(s). Step 2: On the Operation Command Pane, click the [Move To] button to bring up an input prompt (click [Copy to] button if wish to duplicate the file/folder at another path), click the expand (+) button and see the directory structure, click the destination path folder to make it turn Red color. Step 3: Click [Move to] button to proceed move. (Should be [Copy to] button for copy case) The select file/folder will be moved (or copied) to the destination path. Note. If the Destination is the same as the source, i.e. where the folder(s) or file(s) were originally located, the newly duplicated folder(s) or file(s) will be given a new file name instead of the original name. It is assigned with a serial number appended to its original name, e.g. memo(2).doc will be assigned for memo.doc 1.11 File and Folder Deletion Step 1: Select the file(s)/folder(s) you would like to delete by ticking the check box associated with the folder(s) or file(s). Step 2: On the Operation Command Pane, click the [Delete] button to bring up a confirmation prompt, click the [Delete] button on the prompt to proceed deletion. Page 14 of 37

Note: There is no Trash Folder in current Cloud Storage service, so deletion of a file/folder is permanent and undelete is not possible. 1.12 File and Folder Properties Viewing To examine a file/folder s properties, i.e. file/folder size, last modified date/time, full filename, etc. Step 1: Select the folder or file you would like to view by ticking the check box associated with the folder or file, the corresponding properties are displayed at the Properties Pane. 1.13 File Searching To locate folders/files with a given folder/file name pattern. Step 1: On the Search Pane, input the search key of your target filename, click the button. The search result is displayed in the Directory Pane. Page 15 of 37

1.14 Online Picture Viewing The picture files can be viewed online without downloading to user s local hard disk drive. Although the viewing is in a scale down resolution, it will save your time for download it if you just want to take a casual view of it. Step 1: Select the picture file you would like to view by ticking the check box associated with the picture file, the corresponding properties and thumbnail are displayed at the Properties Pane. Click the picture thumbnail at the Properties Pane to start the online viewing. Page 16 of 37

Clicking anywhere on the picture will close it. 1.15 Online Music Listening The music files can be played back online without downloading to user s local hard disk drive. Step 1: Select the music file you would like to listen by ticking the check box associated with the music file, the corresponding properties are displayed at the Properties Pane. Click the music icon on the Properties Pane to start the online playback. Page 17 of 37

User may adjust the volume, pause/play, select point of listen to, zoom to full screen using the controls on the player. Clicking [x] button on the player will close it. 1.16 Online Video Playback The video files can be played back online without downloading to user s local hard disk drive. However, a newly uploaded video file has to go through a video transcoding period which around 1/3 of your original video length (this time is subject to degree of busy on the transcoding server), you can stream play your video any time after this period. Step 1: Select the video file you would like to play by ticking the check box associated with the video file, the corresponding properties and thumbnail are displayed at the Properties Pane. Click the thumbnail on the Properties Pane to start the online playback. Page 18 of 37

Access Record The user can access the Cloud Storage service via Web interface, Mobile App, PC client, each access is logged to a history file, this log can be review over web interface. User can see who at what time and via which channel and what action is done by checking this history record. 1.17 View the Access Record Click the [Record] button on the View Pane. The below screen will be displayed for further input of filtering criteria, e.g. Access channel, Action done, date period. Once the criteria are selected, click the [Submit] button to list the access history. Page 20 of 37

Accessing Cloud Storage using Android application User should able to find the PCCW Cloud Storage application on Google Play and install it easily. (However, during the initial launch this application is not yet listed in Google Play, so user has to obtain it via special channel and install the APK manually) Once the application is installed, click on the [Menu] icon on the Android desktop brings up the main application menu, click the [Cloud Storage] application icon to launch it. The application starts on the system language you currently using (support either English, Simp.Chinese, Trad.Chinese only). Page 22 of 37

Input your advanced email as login name and advanced email password as could storage password, and then click [Login] button to proceed. You may receive a caution message that reminds you about cellular operator may charge you data usage fee when you are connecting over mobile data network (either over 4G, 3G, 2G cellular network) instead of WiFi. For first time use, user has to agree on the End User License Agreement (EULA) of the Cloud Storage, read through and understand the details in the EULA and click [Accept] button to proceed. Page 25 of 37

Home Screen on Android App The Home screen is mainly comprised of 8 sections: (1) Category Pane (switch between file categories) (2) Current Path Row (showing the current folder path) (3) Directory Pane (showing the current path folder and file list) (4) Menu Button (depends on Android version, some have fixed menu button instead of softkey) 1 2 3 4 1.18 The Category Pane There are 5 buttons on the Category Pane for user to select the filtered file categories to display on the Directory Pane. [Files] and [Docs] category will have the files organized in physical folder/file style, user can view their current path on Current Path Row. [Photos], [Music] and [Video] category will have all corresponding media files organized in single list style regardless of their physical folders. Page 26 of 37

1.19 The Directory Pane The folder and file list is showing under the Directory Pane, user can drag to scroll the file list as in any other Android applications. There is no option for changing the file sorting in Android application. 1.20 The Folder Navigation For folder navigation under [Files] and [Docs] category, click the target folder name will goes into the folder, clicking the [Back] button at bottom of the screen will goes back to previous folder level. The current folder path is showing at the top row in the Directory Pane. There is no fast key to jump back to root folder, user has to press [Back] button until root folder is reached. Press of [Back] button at root folder will bring up to exit application dialog box. Note: there is no folder navigation under [Photos], [Music] and [Video] category since all media files in all folders are shown in single list style. File and Folder Management on Android App Using the Android app, you may manipulate your cloud files like uploading and downloading, delete, viewing properties, file searching, stream play media file, etc. However, file/folder rename/copy/move and automatic file/folder synchronization feature is not yet available in this version of Android app. The following details the procedure on how to perform the mentioned functions above: 1.21 Creating a New Folder Creating a new folder is not a standalone function on Android app. It allows you to create a new folder during the procedure of doing a new file upload. 1.22 File Uploading Step 1: Navigate to the folder under which you would like to have the file uploaded to. Press the [Menu] button, click the [Upload] option. Page 27 of 37

Step 2: Depends on device settings, there may be multiple app you may use for selecting your file, so select the target file management app, select the target file for upload on the file management app. (Note: only single file is allowed) Step 3: After target file is selected, you have to click [Choose] button to select your destination path on the Cloud. Click right side [>] arrow button will navigate into the folder, click the folder name will highlight the folder for selection, you may create a new folder by clicking [Create Folder] button. Once the cloud path is fixed, click the [Done] button to go back to ready for upload screen. Page 28 of 37

Step 4: Once the cloud path is fixed, click the [Upload now] button to starting the actual file uploading. Depending on the size of the selected file(s) and your available bandwidth, the uploading process might take a little while. Step 5 The new uploaded file(s) will appear in your desire location. 1.23 File Downloading Step 1: Navigate to the target folder in the Directory Pane, press and hold the destination file, an options menu will pop up. (Press and hold a folder will get only Open and Delete option) Page 29 of 37

Step 2: click the [Download] button to start download. The downloaded file is actually saved in your local SD card folder /sdcard/bbi_download so you can view this folder content using any other applications. Notes: Not support multiple files or a folder download in Android app. 1.24 File and Folder Deletion Step 1: Navigate to the target folder in the Directory Pane, press and hold the destination file/folder, an options menu will pop up. (Press and hold a folder will get only Open and Delete option) Step 2: click the [Delete] button to delete the selected file/folder on Cloud Storage. The downloaded file is actually saved in your local SD card folder /sdcard/bbi_download so you can view this folder content using any other applications. Notes: This deletion of Cloud file does not affect your downloaded local SD card copy, it still exists. There is no Trash Folder in current Cloud Storage service, so deletion of a file/folder on Cloud Storage is permanent and undelete is not possible. Page 30 of 37

1.25 File Properties Viewing To examine a file s properties, i.e. file size, last modified date/time, full filename, etc. Step 1: Navigate to the target folder in the Directory Pane, press and hold the destination file, an options menu will pop up. Step 2: click the [File Information] button to view the file properties. Below shows the properties screenshot example of music, video and photo (same as photo for all other file types) file. 1.26 File and Folder Searching To locate files with a given file name pattern. Step 1: Press the [Menu] button, click the [Search] option. Page 31 of 37

Step 1: On the search input box at the top row, input the search key of your target filename, click the button. The search result (all condition matched files are displayed regardless of their physical folder path). Note: If the search key is match to a folder, all the files inside that folder are listed in the search result. 1.27 Online Picture Viewing Page 32 of 37

The picture files can be viewed online without downloading to user s local SD card. Although the viewing is in a scale down resolution, it will save your time and data usage for download it if you just want to take a casual view of it. Step 1: Click the [Photos] button on Category Pane, click the picture you want to view. Press the [Back] key to go back. 1.28 Online Music Listening The music files can be played back online without downloading to user s local SD card. Step 1: Click the [Music] button on Category Pane, click the song you want to listen to; Or you can click the [Shuffle] button to play the song one by one in random sequence. Page 33 of 37

Under the player screen, user may adjust the volume, pause/play, previous/next, jump to point of listen to, loop all/loop one, shuffle play using the controls on the player. Clicking [Back] button will close it and with the stream play still going on at the background. 1.29 Online Video Playback The video files can be played back online without downloading to user s local SD card. However, a newly uploaded video file has to go through a video transcoding period which around 1/3 of your original video length (this time is subject to degree of busy on the transcoding server), you can stream play your video any time after this period. Step 1: Click the [Video] button on Category Pane, click the video you want to watch. Page 34 of 37

User may adjust the volume, pause/play, and jump to point of play using the controls on the player. Clicking [Back] button will close it and stop the streaming. Settings on Android App To enter the settings menu of the Android app, press the [Menu] button and then click the [Options] button, the account information and settings values are displayed. Account information : entitlement of cloud storage size, current usage, login username Cellular setting : streaming video quality, option for use cellular data for video/music streaming App UI language : user select UI language Logout control : true logout from cloud Page 35 of 37

1.30 Logout from Cloud Storage Normally user press the [Back] button on the device will exit the application without logout from the cloud, so next time clicking the Cloud Storage app icon will quickly going back to the home screen without the need for entering username and password again. To have completely logout of the cloud, user may press the [Logout] button inside the [Options] menu, then click [Yes] button to confirm. User has to enter the username and password again next time entering this cloud using this app. Page 36 of 37
