The cener hand has dual funcions: - In he CLENDR/LRM mode, i indicaes he dae, monh and leap year by is base end ( )as a calendar hand. - In he STOPWTCH mode, i indicaes he second by is ip end ( )as a sop wach second hand. * Some models may have a screw lock ype crown. If your wach has a screw lock ype crown, refer o SCREW LOCK TYPE. * Simplified illusraions may be used in he following secions of his manual. The characers of mode indicaor or dae indicaor and heir orienaion may differ depending on he model. CHR model CHRONO model SCREW LOCK TYPE Some models may have a screw-lock mechanism ha can securely lock he crown by screw when hey are no being operaed. Locking he crown will help o preven any operaional errors and enhance he waer resisan qualiy of he wach. I is necessary o unlock he screw lock ype crown before operaing i. Once you have finished operaing he crown, make sure o relock i. l How o use he screw lock ype crown Keep he crown securely locked unless you need o operae i. The main dial ime should be se in he 12-hour forma, regardless of wheher i is M or PM. When seing he minue hand, firs advance i 4 o 5 minues ahead of he desired ime, and hen urn i back o he exac ime. The hands move quickly if he buon is kep pressed. * When adjusing he posiion of he hand, he hands can only be advanced in he clockwise direcion. Press once. The sopwach second hand urns a full circle. Press o se he sopwach second hand o he 0 posiion. The hand moves quickly if he buon is kep pressed. Second click Day hand STOPWTCH hour and minue hands Press once. The day hand complees one revoluion. Press o se he day hand poining a he Monday indicaor. The hands move quickly if he buon is kep pressed. l To adjus he posiion of he day hand, advance he day hand unil i poins a he do beside he Monday indicaor passing hrough he blank area. The posiion of each hand can be readjused in he following order by pressing he buon. STOPWTCH second hand Day hand fer all he adjusmens are compleed, push in o normal posiion. There is no need o adjus he dae a he end of he monh up o February 28, 2100. How o check he year and monh In he CLENDR/LRM mode, wih each pressing of he buon, he calendar hand urns o indicae he dae, monh and year successively by is base end. Push back in o normal posiion. TTERY CHNGE 5 Years The miniaure baery which powers your wach should las approximaely 5 years. However, because he baery is insered a he facory o check he funcion and performance of he wach, is acual life once in your possession may be less han he specified period. When he baery expires, be sure o replace i as soon as possible o preven any malfuncion. For baery replacemen, we recommend ha you conac an UTHORIZED SEIKO DELER and reques SEIKO SR927SW baery. * If he display mode is changed more han once, he sopwach is used for longer han 1 hour, and he alarm sounds for 20 seconds per day, he baery life may be less han he specified period.
