Program Information What is CampusCFPA Campus CFPA is the CFPA Certification Training program offered to academic institutions for their students across Universities in Kenya. This program is conducted in the premises of the university/ college by authorized BCI ICOS partners. After the completion of the Training Program, the students take the BCI online CFPA Certification Examination (BCE). Qualifying students are awarded the CFPA Certification and the CFPA Designation. Critical Objectives of CampusCFPA BCI authorized ICOS partners worldwide seek the following outcomes from the CampusCFPA Certification Training Program: 1. The trainee students should be able to qualify and pass the BCI Certification Examination and get BCI Certified. 2. The trainee students should develop BPO requisite knowledge base and skill sets to work at the entry level in Financial Processing BPO organizations. 3. The trainee students should be able to conduct themselves as responsible global citizens and ethical performance driven professionals. 4. The trainee students are able to get employment offers from BPO companies after getting BCI Certified.

KeMU uses the following training instruments and methods across campuses in Kenya: 1. Instructor/ Trainer led classroom/ training sessions for learning of concepts and principles related to various BPO industry dimensions. 2. Role Plays and Case Demonstrations to help internalize knowledge and application skills in critical areas. 3. Quizzes and PC Skills assignments to help refine and polish tasking skills as required in entry level assignments in BPOs. 4. Company visits to BPO organizations and call centers. 5. Internal Tests to ensure continuous learning of students.

BCI Certification Examination: 1 Components of CFPA Assessment for first time BCI Registrants. Assessment Category Assessment Components Marks A1 CFPA DOMAIN KNOWLEDGE ASSESSMENT 300 A2 KEYBOARDING SKILLS ASSESSMENT 100 A3 COMPUTING SKILLS 100 A4 LANGUAGE STRUCTURE, VOCABULARY & COMPREHENSION 100 TOTAL 600 2 The CFPA BCE Test Paper carries 75 100 multiple choice answer type questions with 300 marks on the maximum and is timed for 90 120 minutes. 3 The BCE carries questions based on topics and areas mentioned in the CFPA CBOK. 4 The weights accorded to different knowledge areas in the CFPA Test Paper are as follows: Weights accorded to different Areas of professional knowledge to be assessed in the CFPA Certification Examination are as follows Module 1 Module 2 Module 3 Module 4 Module 5 Nature & Typology of BPO Services BPO Operations & Work Environment Personal Effectiveness Principles & Techniques Role profile of a Finance & Accounting Services Associate Finance & Accounting Processing Tasks & Activities 10% 10% 10% 10% 60% 5 RETEST FACILITY: 5.1 BCI allows FREE reappearance opportunity to registrants/ participants after the First Failure. The registrants/participants have to apply for the Retest in a prescribed format available with the ICOSs and are bound to follow the examination schedule as fixed by BCI. 5.2 If a registrant/ participant fails for the second time (called the Second Failure), (s)he is spun back to the pre certification training (PCT) stage and (s)he has to undergo the PCT all over again after paying the fee prescribed by the BCI ICOS at the time of re registration.

CERTIFICATION LIFE: A CFPA Certificate is valid for exactly 3 years from the date of its award. Application for recertification to BCI has to be made at least three months prior to the date of expiry of the Certification. Recertification applicants have to take the CFPA Refresher Examination and submit a Self Evaluation Report.
