INTRODUCT ION 1. Introduction to Help Desk 1.1. What is a Help Desk? It is established as a primary interface for all forms of correspondence between applicants and GIDC offices The basic purpose of creating a public interface desk is to provide the applicant with necessary information and support 2. Functions of Help Desk 2.1. How will the Help Desk assist you? Assistance on any queries related to online applications Registry of applications and all type of correspondence Preliminary screening of application Providing written acknowledgement for application and all correspondence Will provide information on status of applications 3. Faster & Transparent delivery 3.1. Which applications can you submit under Project Good Governance? The following recurrent activities have been identified under this program Allotment 2(R) Lease Transfer NU Extension Engineering Plan Passing 20% Ground Coverage Water Connection Drainage Connection Plinth Check Building Completion Check 3.2. Email Correspondence Use of e-mail will reduce time period for communicating critical information to applicant, thus making it easier for the applicant to respond to it quickly. Hence, e-mail ID has been made mandatory for application through this system. Please note that all communication and updates during processing of an application will be sent to applicant s registered e-mail ID, in addition to postal communication. As an applicant please make sure that the e-mail ID, that you are using while registering or applying, is valid. 3.3. Time Bound program In order to provide faster delivery to the applicant, GIDC will process the applications under a time bound program, under this program. The same program will apply to the applicants; i.e. the applicant will have to submit necessary documents or penalty amount or fees amount or charges amount to GIDC in the given time to facilitate faster clearance. ABOUT APPLICATION 1. Why Online Application HOW TO APPLY APPLICANT MANUAL There are number of advantages to using the online application system. Some of these include: Ease of application from home/office; Simplified application with assistance wherever required; Ability to save your application and edit later; Ability to submit the same at a later time; Ability to store the application summary on your computer for reference, prints etc. (the summary will also be mailed to the applicant); Complete information of documents required to be submitted with a particular type of application, clearly provided to remove ambiguity; On submission of online application acknowledgement receipt mailed to the registered e-mail ID as proof of application; Ability to check status of application status online; E-mail ID is mandatory for application. All communication and updates during processing of an application will be sent to applicant s registered e-mail ID, in addition to postal communication. (applicant won t have to wait to receive post) 2. Two stage application process The complete application process is divided into two stages. 1. Online Application 2. Physical submission of required documents at Helpdesk After submitting of the application online, the applicant will have to submit hard copies of all relevant documents mentioned in online application at the Help Desk. On completion of this the applicant will receive a printed acknowledgement receipt of submission of documents as well as one acknowledgement on their registered e-mail ID. This receipt will contain a unique identification number, which will be used for all future correspondence in reference to that particular application. 3. Application Process In the following description will explain the steps involved in the two stage application system 1. 4. Other Compliances 4.1. Non Utilization penalty HOW TO APPLY APPLICANT MANUAL If you are applying for Non Utilized Extension, you will need to check for any pending NU penalty against your plot. Additionally, penalty will be assessed again by the Corporation in the course of detail scrutiny and any change in the same will be conveyed to the applicant. Application will be process further only after clearing the penalty. 4.2. Administrative Charges For any application there is an Administrative Charge to be paid to the Corporation as fees towards processing the application. The amount for the same will be calculated and shown to you automatically when you are filling the online application. You will need to submit a Demand Draft (DD) of the indicated amount to Help Desk along with your application. 4.3. Dues Pending For any application the applicant will be required to check for dues pending towards the Corporation through the following link http://117.239.80.70/accounts/index.aspx. If any dues are pending, the applicant will need to submit a DD for the amount along with the application to the Help Desk. Additionally, dues will be assessed again by the Corporation in the course of detail scrutiny and any change in the same will be conveyed to the applicant. Application will be process further only after clearing the dues. 4.4. Scrutiny Fees Scrutiny fee is applicable for applications under Engineering department. Post application the Corporation will undertake detailed scrutiny of the site area. Based on this the applicant will be communicated the amount of Scrutiny fee as well as Penalty (if applicable). A demand draft for this amount will have to be submitted to the Help Desk. Page 5 of 16
APPLICATION WALK THROUGH HOW TO APPLY APPLICANT MANUAL Step 1 GIDC Home Page: Open Internet explorer, or any other internet browser, you use on your computer and type/copy-paste the following Website address in the Address bar, www.gidc.gov.in and click Enter. When the webpage opens, click on the below shown link to apply under Project Good Governance. Click here to apply under Project Good Governance Step 2 Project Good Governance Home Page: After you click on the link, the webpage shown below will open up. This webpage contains brief introduction of application under Project Good Governance. A first time applicant will have to Register on the portal to avail application services as shown below. First time registration If already registered, the applicant will need to enter USER NAME and PASSWORD in their respective boxes and then click LOGIN to avail the online application services and proceed to Step 5 directly. An applicant can also check status of his/her previous made application by entering the Unique ID Number* (unique ID is explained in further steps). Step 3 Registration Page: On clicking the link shown in the previous page, the webpage shown below will open up. The applicant will be required to provide details as mentioned on the page for registration and then click SUBMIT. Click here to Register after you have filled up the boxes above On registration, the applicant will get a mail containing the User Name and Password details on their registered e-mail ID, for future reference. (Note: e-mail ID is compulsory for further processing of application). Step 4 Login Page: After registration, the applicant will be redirected to the same webpage as shown in step 2. The applicant will need to enter USER NAME and PASSWORD in their respective boxes and then click LOGIN to avail the online application services. Step 5 Select Application Page: On logging in the applicant will be directed to a select application page as shown below. Please select the type of application you want to apply, from the options on the right of the screen, as shown in the screen shot. Select type of application Page 7 of 16
Next step is filling up the details in an Online Application form. The form is divided into two parts, (i) Common Details & (ii) Details specific to the type of application. The explanation of the steps is also structured in the same way. First, the common details Step 6 Online Form Common details Once the applicant selects the type of application, webpage asking for common details will open up. This page has two parts, 1) Applicant Details and 2) Plot Details. Please fill all particulars in their respective boxes. Some details in the form are mandatory, indicated by this symbol * on the side. 1.) Applicant Details Page 8 of 16

Plot Details Click Save & Continue to add further information Step 7 Online Form Specifc details After one fills the common details on the first page and clicks save and continue, the applicant will be redirected to a new page, where he/she has to enter details specific to that type of application. Sr.3. Details of fees if permission is to be given for the unit outside GIDC Estate/Sister Concern (Details of collateral security) 3a. Area of the plot (in square metres): This field will self populate from details filled on the previous page 3b. Prevailing allotment price per square meter (in Rs.) Click on the link to know the previaling allotment price for specific estate 3c. Total Allotment price (in Rs.) Auto calculation once you enter prevailing allotment price 3d. Fees @ of 1% of collateral security of total Allotment Price (in Rs.) - Auto calculation once you enter prevailing allotment price. Take a print of the application at this point. You will need to bring a print of the application summary along with the other documents specified in the list and submit at the HelpDesk. If you choose not to take prints at this point, the application will also be available for print in your profile under the type of application on the Home page.
