1 Operating at the Middle East Technical University TECHNOPOLIS, DamaSistem is a research and development company focusing on design and development of educational software. Also providing training and consultancy, DamaSistem provides solutions to high costs, loss of time and low rates of success encountered by many organizations, which try to solve their instructional needs with traditional methods. While making education more effective and entertaining through our computer aided training solutions, we also offer tailored solutions to organizations, as well as lowering training costs and delivering an increase in efficiency. e-learning In order to maintain update the knowledge of existing employees, and to perform the training of newly hired employees, electronic learning can be performed without restrictions of time and place, eliminating the need for gathering the personnel together, thus saving costs on hall, classroom and accommodation. Simulations designed and produced by DamaSistem, subjects and concepts that are more costly and from time to time impossible to describe by traditional methods, are transferred to the users by a much faster, easier and effective method with the aid of two and three dimensional animations. Subsequently, thanks to interactive applications, multiple choice tests and ordering and fill in the blanks exercises, even with the educational games, the achievement through the training given is reported via the measurement and evaluation taking place after the training. The content, provided in a form compatible with SCORM and IMS, may be used in open source coded Learning Content Management Systems. This way, other advantages, such as forums, file storage, dictionary, chat, test and surveys are offered free of charge along with 70 languages support.

2 m-learning The developments in the capabilities of mobile devices and their dropping prices, the facilities offered for mobile Internet access, led DamaSistem to utilize its experience in electronic training in the field of mobile education and to design and develop mobile training solutions. 3 1. In the context of distance learning we may provide: LMS installation, configuration and customization. Trainings for maintaining the LMS are provided. We also offer support for system administration. 1.1. Learning Management System (LMS) Provides the media for the asynchronous learning. Being used by more than 30 million people in 207 countries, Moodle supports most requirements of the LMS. [Ref: http://moodle.org/stats/ ] Course Screen: Moodle, is an open source LMS. 4 Reports: LMS provides logs reports. Logs and Statistic: Activities of the students are logged and reported. Question Bank and Exam Modules: Questions are created by the trainers in the question bank. Quizzes are formed. Student achievement is measured by pretest and posttests. 1.2. Digital Learning Contents. Impact of the digital learning contents are improved via animations and interactive exercises. Professional dubbings, recorded in studios are used. Mother tongues are available for a variety of commonly used languages.

5 User manuals User manuals are provided in your own language, concerning the usage of the learning materials and suggestions for the study Virtual Classroom and Video Conferencing Open source coded Video conferencing systems are used for the synchronous learning, and integrated with the LMS by SSO (Single Sign-On) protocols. Providing: Audiovisual presentation: Trainer presents his/her lesson via webcam and microphone connected to the PC or laptop. Screen Sharing: Trainer can share his/her desktop with learners. Whiteboard: A digital board that is presented to the learners. Document Sharing: Trainer shares documents and gives the lecture over that document. Chat: Learners ask questions and give feedbacks Web Page Display: Trainer, can browse a web page and display it to the learners.

6 1.3. Application development for IOS and Android: DamaSistem holds Apple-IOS Developer Certificate. Some examples are shown below: 1.4. Smart Toys The smart toy project uses the plush toys for interacting with the animation. The aim of the smart toy is to provide mixed reality environment for young children to support several objectives mentioned in early childhood education curriculum. Smart toy play allows children to play with not only virtual characters but also physical objects. Rather than using mouse and keyboards, children can handle plush toys to animate the virtual characters appeared on the animation. Compared with other digital toys, the advantage of smart toys is to provide meaningful and interactive tasks for children by integrating virtual and physical reality.

ELETS Expert Level Experience Transfer and Supervision (ELETS) Project is to develop methods that will allow to discover the automated knowledge from skilled personnel which is normally acquired over a long period of time then transfer it to the inexperienced ones. Project also covers the evaluation of the visual skills that are required by the position. 2. References 2.1. 8 2.2. Bahçeşehir University e-learning content for the occupational safety. The LMS and course contents are certified by The Ministry of Labour and Social Security of Turkey. LMS installation and configuration, Video conferencing, Content development compatible to IMS-Scorm, Training of the trainers, Hosting, System administration are supported by DamaSistem. 2.3. Question Bank for The Schools of MatFen On-line question bank application for The Schools of MatFen which is a very old and famous one in Ankara/Turkey 2.4. Union of Municipalities of Turkey Within the scope of Implementation of Local Administration Reform in Turkey, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) supported software design and development (web design, administration and database management) to assist Union of Municipalities.

9 2.5. Learning content development for Lean 6 Sigma Digital learning contents are designed developed in the context of lean six sigma. 2.6. Regional Environmental Center - REC Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA), Portal Design & Development for Regional Environmental Center (REC), supported by European Community.

10 2.7. Bahçeşehir K12 Schools Learning Management System for Bahcesehir K12 Schools is designed and developed for students of ages 8-12 with a user-friendly graphical user interface. 2.8. Prestige English Interactive exercises and smartboard contents are developed for Prestige English Company, which is one of the largest educational institutions in Turkey.

Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Turkey An informational web portal that contains basic information for workers right and responsibilities is designed and developed by DamaSistem for the Ministry of Labor and Social Security of Turkey.
