This user guide contains the information you need to understand and use the application properly. It is an advantage to have knowledge of the standard features in NAV. The TA Time & Attendance module Basic version can be used as stand-alone and/or together with the NAVEKSA SHOPFLOOR solution. The NAVEKSA TA Basic module is a very simple solution for the registration and calculation of employee (paid) attendance time including various absence registrations (paid/un-paid). The TA system works as stand-alone and/or together with the NAVEKSA SHOPFLOOR system. If used with the SHOPFLOOR system the functionality is extended with various production orders related functions. It is NOT a payroll system but it provides the necessary data to be sent to a payroll service bureau. The NAVEKSA TA Basic module is delivered as part of the SHOPFLOOR solution, and it is separately priced. Normally, time attendance registration will be operated from a screen in the Shop Floor client. As such it can be run on the NAV limited user concept. But it can also be operated within standard NAV as stand-alone or together with the SHOPFLOOR client. NAVEKSA All rights reserved Page 2 of 9
