PICTURE - Please indicate how your Files will be delivered to Deluxe, and in which Format : Via FTP (Contact Deluxe for FTP site info) Hard Drive (properly labeled) HDCAM(SR) Tape (properly labeled) For best image reproduction please deliver 16 bit Linear TIFF or 10 bit DPX File, in Format(s) below. Pro Res Quick time files are acceptable. PLEASE NOTE: Material that originates from field based video such as NTSC or PAL standard definition video, or 1080i high definition video will not be accepted as a suitable picture source for transfer, as Standard Definition video format will result in a lower quality image and therefore is not optimal transfer material, (additional transfer costs would apply). FLAT 1:85:1 (1998 x1080) Flat 1:85:1 1998 x 1080 SCOPE 2:39:1 (2048x858) OR HD Resolution (1920x1080) Pillar Box (Scope) 2:39:1 2048 x 858 Both Flat and Scope aspect ratios are required for delivery to Cineplex, however if you are only delivering Flat or 1920x1080, Deluxe will Pillar-Box to create the Scope version. (Please note: this will result in a smaller image on-screen, not wall to wall, but no content is lost. If you cannot provide true Scope version we will Pillar-box, with black bars on each side). Please see above for example. File naming convention should be labeled as follows: spotname_scope or flat_eng or fre _0001.tiff All spots delivered should have: 10 frames slate, 10 frames black, 2 beep, followed by 47 frames black, followed by first frame of picture. The required 2-beep is one frame of 1KHZ tone placed 2 seconds ahead of first frame of picture. The frame rate for File and HD Sources should be 23.98 or 24 frames per second. Please contact Deluxe if frame rate conversion, from 59.94, will be required. IMPORTANT: Please be sure to double-check all text, supers, legals, logos, and urls (spelling, content & placement) before delivering material to Deluxe, to reduce the possibility of revisions, which will incur additional charges, and to ensure that the original on-screen date will be met. AUDIO - Please indicate the Audio source being provided: 5.1 Mix / with 5.1 mix Stems OR Stereo Mix / with Separate Stereo Stems Please deliver full 5.1 mix stems with the following track assignments Left, Right, Centre, Left Surround, Right Surround, & Sub. The tracks should be fully labeled and delivered as a Pro Tools Session (with no plug-ins). If Stereo track audio is your only source, please provide the separate stereo mix stems, if at all possible, and Deluxe will re-master it into a full Dolby 5.1 mix. All sound files should be Broadcast 24-bit WAV format in a Sample rate of 48KHZ at 23.98 or 24fps. Please be sure to include an Audible 2 beep - one frame of 1khz tone placed 2 seconds ahead of first frame of picture. Audio files can be delivered as follows: uploaded to FTP, delivered on Hard drive or HDCAM SR tape, or via Email Link. IMPORTANT AUDIO LEVEL REQUIREMENT: Please note that Cineplex Media has a technical requirement that the Audio does not exceed a loudness level of 82db LEQ. This is an average frequency level, over the entire length of the spot. DCP REPLICATION NOTE: All DCP Disks MUST be replicated by Deluxe Toronto to ensure DCP system compatibility on all digital screens contracted with Cineplex Media. All supplied DCP packages must meet DCI specifications. SHOW-TIME PRODUCTION TRANSFER PROCESS Our Production process for Transfers takes 5-7 business days. Communication w/client from Production contact, Shawn Irvin at Cineplex Media. Includes: Client call, deadline confirmation, review of creative assets required and assignment of Purchase Order Number for labeling of elements going to Deluxe Toronto. Client/agency provides original material to Deluxe Toronto by deadline. *Client affixes completed packing slip with properly labeled creative (*See full specs, including copy of packing slip, label instructions, etc. online at www.cineplexmedia.com under Show-Time: Transfer form). CREATIVE ELEMENTS REVIEW Deluxe Toronto determines if creative meets specifications. ERROR IS DISCOVERED WITH ORIGINAL MATERIAL Deluxe Toronto work is halted until all creative is received by creative agency, meeting outlined specifications. Deluxe will contact Cineplex Media to review. Next step options include: agency contacts original posthouse to have corrections made to material, making arrangements to then have the revised material sent back to Deluxe Toronto for output. Client s original flight date may be compromised if creative arrives after assigned deadline, or is not set according to our specs. Contact your Cineplex Media sales rep for further info. ALL ELEMENTS MEET SPECS. Deluxe Toronto creates DCinema Masters. Client approval is arranged and the approval process is held at Deluxe Toronto exclusively. Masters are sent for output to DCinema disks. DCinema disks are sent to theatres according to contract specifications. ADS ARE READIED FOR PUBLIC AIRPLAY! 5 of 5
